On topic, I always felt that no matter the results Moyes' brings, he was always going to get a whole season or even 2, because Man United doesnt operate in the "results are ****, sack the manager now" way that my club and many others have started doing in the last 15 years. Which is very admirable. Whether it will pay off or not i dont know, and what kind of damage will be done to Man Utds image and finances globally, who knows.....but as they are unarguably the second biggest club on the planet after Madrid, they will bounce back either way.
I realise he does a perfectly good job of making an arse out of himself. But it has become very tedious for everyone else using the board when about 10 people descend onto threads just to pick apart what he says. There is no sport in it, it's boring.
To be fair this forum was dead and boring for the short time Matth was banned, so be careful what you wish for. Least Matth stirs some debate and gets rival fans involved which has got to be better than the alternative.
