FA Cup hands down, still trying to forget the last two Premiership seasons ever happened.

Winners of FA cup get just £1.5 mil. Promotion gets...well a hell of a lot more. Money isn't everything but with our plans for the future and the ambition we need to be showing then we really need premiership football ahead of a cup in the cupboard. Don't get me wrong I'd be going nuts if on cup final day the whistle blows and we've won it...but a few months later when the fixtures are revealed and we're playing Huddersfield and Bournmouth I'd be wishing we'd had a successful league campaign instead of the cup run.
Now what would earning a European spot mean to us? We're already talking about resting players for our domestic cup games, would we want our fragile players playing in a prolonged tiring European campaign on top of that the following season..no matter what league we're in?
I also wonder why some people complain about our season so far as they have...with us laying in 3rd position then say they'd rather win the FA cup then get promotion. Maybe they should be hoping for more dire performances and crap results against teams like Doncaster, Millwall and Brighton for the rest of the season so we can enjoy having relative success in an inferior league than lesser success in the top league. I don't want us to get relegated next season (if we go up this season) But would rather have that then 2 seasons in the championship doing nothing.

Promotion for me due to the financial bonus it would bring, dont get me wrong would love us to win the FA Cup. I wouldnt want the extra games the Europa would bring especially with our bare bones squad, however once we have developed an excellent youth set up with players coming through that dont count towards squad numbers then yeah let the good times roll.

Promotion for sure. This is the clear and obvious priority for the Club - if you support the Club how can you rate winning something else as more important than Promotion. Support the Club? Then that's got to be wanting them to be playing at the highest level. Winning the FA Cup would be fantastic but winning the Play Off Final to the PL would be better.

We've demonstrated in the recent past that we can achieve promotion, as champions to boot; cup success, even at the most basic level of advancing from A to B has proven to be far far more elusive. Promotion is the true goal, cup success a delightful diversion but a diversion nonetheless. It's where we're bound.

But then what? You go up and do your best to cling to 17th for a bit and maybe eventually reach the dizzy heights of eighth. Genuinely couldn't give a toss if we're playing at the highest level or not- it's boring, overrated, repetitive and often quite depressing. Surely football is about glory.

Yes, I agree it's about winning and glory. For me there was glory in beating Liverpool, Arsenal, Spurs, Chelsea twice, in giving Man City the fright of their history as they watched the PL Championship slipping from their hands at home, and another one at LR, in beating Everton away with a team that looked far weaker than we put out today. All this and more in the last 2 seasons. I don't find much glory in struggling to beat the likes of Doncaster, Bournemouth and Yeovil, which are about the high points of this season so far.

It's not a matter of what I want, it's what the club NEEDS !
To secure the future of Queens Park Rangers and to accomplish the plans that have been muted, we need promotion above anything else.
The FA cup is a welcome distraction.

It's academic now, another spineless, weak-willed, pathetic surrender. If I didn't know better we could be French...

That's fair enough mate and I can kind of understand that considering you're a local boy. But try living in a bloody Country where most people aren't even aware that there is a league below the Premiership and they all follow either Man U or Liverpool!

I'd rather be finishing 17th in the Prem every year than doing well in the NPC or winning a Cup. At least then my team would be included and would be getting a mention.

Not relevant for us, but why are they having the draw for the next round now? Why not wait til the end of the day, at least.

Also, I'd like to see them get rid of replays.
