What do you think of the idea of having England, Scotland and Northern Ireland scrap their league cups and have a British cup. It has long lost its luster in all of the leagues and is usually used as a chance to field 2nd rate or younger sides. Maybe with a European place and some new competition it might gain a bit more credibility.
It would certainly be of interest to Scottish, Northern Irish and Welsh teams, but can't see the English buying into it. The Top 6 are only interested in the EPL and CL only, whilst the diddy teams want to win the cups.
Celtic & Rangers in Prem is and always will be a non-starter as is this. Benefits everyone else because they're **** but absolutely no benefit whatsoever to English teams!
