After 3 games in 6 days there's nothing like an away cup tie miles away to refresh weary legs. Interesting game this one, do either side really want to win it , the Tractor boys are going well in the Championship under Mick McCarthy, have put in lengthy unbeaten run, although think they have drawn the last two matches.
Big Mick has put together a useful team, always rated McGoldrick, also have the useful Murphy up front, plus Anderson and Hunt, not a squad to be sniffed at, and in all truth should probably be too good for us on Saturday.
We should have a full squad to pick from be interesting to see what line up SG puts out, may rest a few considering the match against Wolves next week.
Not the greatest draw for either side go for a home win although not to fussed about that.

An interesting result, a replay at our place on 14/1/2014, means I get a midweek game in, sounds like a decent performance, unbeaten in 10 away since losing to the Posh, long may the run continue

By all accounts themaclad you did put in a good performance. Yes we played a few "fringe" players but I'm sure Mick could've done without a replay probably as much as you. Your on a roll and we're pushing for the play offs so a long trip up to Preston is not what we want. And Sod's law indicates a nice financial pay day in round 4 probably won't happen but we would both like.
But fair play to you guys, you gave us a game and will probably be the happier tonight.

Depends on what the draw is tomorrow, probably end up with Southend away, but if it's one of the big guns then it will be a different ball game at Deepdale a week on Tuesday.
Thanks for your input Mad as<cheers>
