Mag in peace Anyway I was just interested to find out your reaction to Henderson leaving - I remember something from mid season where Bruce said he wouldn't leave, but of course you can never trust a player (as I have sadly learnt). But I just want to know, are many people bitter than he left? Is it on the same stage as Carroll leaving? Or is it a case of either 'He's leaving for better things and will become a star' or 'the club were right to sell for that amount of money'. Was he worth the money?! So, yeah, I'm leaving myself open to a lot of abuse and WUMing but hopefully someone will provide an answer
Henderson has shown signs that he has got potential, but like Carroll, is worth nowhere near the value he was sold for. I think the majority of our fans will hold no animosity towards Henderson whatsoever, will wish him well, and will give him a great reception if/when he comes to play at the SoL for Liverpool in the future.
Good deal for both parties. We got a massive amount of money, they got an up-and-coming English player. I have no hard feelings against Henderson at all. He's going to one of the biggest clubs in England and Europe and has a shot at being a star. He never complained and never forced a move. He mentioned how it hurt him to leave us after supporting us all his life. I'll give him a good reception when he comes back
good young player when played down the right but was too often used in the middle due to injuries where he was mostly ineffective. was he worth 20m? not a ****ing chance, great deal for us, now kindly **** off to your own board please
decent young player with potential , his strengths imo are his workrate links the play well good composure, weekness cant tackle not the best crosser of aball ,i am very happy with the deal we got off liverpool

The big-money midfielder outlined his ambitions at Anfield on Monday, and says he wants to learn his trade from childhood hero Steven Gerrard. Henderson has allayed fears that his move to Liverpool might limit his first team chances and ultimately hamper his progress to the England senior side. However Henderson, who is earmarked for a central midfield role by Reds boss Kenny Dalglish, said: “I spoke to the manager and he said he thinks I can play in a few positions. "I’m not really bothered, all I care about is making sure that I’m in the starting 11 and playing regular football.
