man city score with an offside player the same margin as ours against villa but this time the linesman is in a direct line looking across from a corner, bag of ****e
the linesman got it wrong he was offside and he didnt give it , then again city are one of the big boys ,blackburn have now scored. terrible goalkeeping
Got to remember the linesman gets one look in real time. We couldn't decide between us if ours was offside or on side last week, and that was with the help of freeze frame / slow motion etc.
That's the point Cyprus, a goal should be given unless the linesman is absolutely sure the player is offside. That's why I used to prefer the 'daylight' rule where the linesman would only give offside if he could see daylight between the attacker and the last defender.
Stu said after out villa game that our disallowed goal was offside so I wouldn't listen to much he says as he appears to be in a minority of 2 (with the linesman)
Yeah that didn't work either as the ****ers can't keep up with the line. Surely there's tech that can take control of offsides?
It is FIXED for the top clubs I tell you, there is money being handed out I reckon, probably in the refs changing room !. They could use the same cameras what they use in athletics, they can frigging keep up with the play.
He lifted his shirt up after the mistake and he's got a right kite on him. Looks unfit. He has been out injured for months like I spose.
Maybe the linesman WAS sure he was offside! Maybe afterwards he has looked at the replay and thought 'bloody hell that was closer than i thought!' Good idea but then wouldnt we be looking at freeze frame and slow mo at whether there is daylight between between attacker and defender?
