Exactly, when they bowl, we'll just let them bowl and build up momentum, especially when Johnson is bowling.

Horrible day for England. We have just leaked runs left, right and centre. On this tour our bowling has been poor, our fielding has terrible and our batting a disgrace. You might get away with one discipline not functioning. You might be able to put up a fight if 2 were not. If all 3 do not function you get tanned. Austrailia have improved but not to the extent we're making it look like.

Will Cook win a toss on this tour? That's 3 in a row!

Our top 5 batsmen mustered 19 runs in the first innings.. Oh dear.

The Aussie bowling has improved but England just do not seem interested

What's the Aussie press like down there Fredor. Are they having a field day at England's expense?

You could see that with Pietersen, couldn't wait to get out.

Pitiful efforts. At least Balance and Stokes looked liked they wanted to be out there. Cooks brain is scrambled after a chastening summer, Bell got a good ball but is completely out of nick, Carberry's selection makes no sense if we are looking to the future and they have him worked out, and KP is also out of nick regardless what he says and has never been good when exposed to the new ball early as he is vulnerable to nicking off when its doing a bit. Bairstow is technically average, doesn't like pace or bounce - bit of a bad recipe in Austrailia!

Stokes and Broad are the only real positives from the tour.

If Pardew managed a cricket team, KP would not be playing. End of.

I am utterly appalled by how pathetic every facet of our game has been down there. If only WW2 intelligence had discovered that brown noise really just involved saying "Mitchell Johnson", the war would have ended in a diarrhoea infested mini bloodbath as opposed to the years of annihilation, which is still ultimately more attractive than the sight of our Cricket team down under.

If Pards managed a cricket team, he'd put Shola and Jonas in it.

To be fair in the Durham Ashes test in the summer, the call for Shola went up several times from the crowd <laugh> If Pards managed a cricket team they'd overachieve......then be ****e.............then overachieve again. They'd exit in the first stage of the 20/20 and one day tournaments.

I could see Shola as a decent fast bowler actually.
Jonas would be a spinner I reckon.

Maybe we should get them in the Australia team, then we may have a chance.

The way Jonas stuck around our starting eleven for years he could be another Brigadier Block.
Colly used to be sublime when we needed someone to stick in. Although wor lass used to see him and made many a block of her own.

That is true, the only two who've looked decent are Stokes and Ballance in his one innings.

I have fast gained the impression that cricket pundits are as awful as all the other ones... They lament in hindsight every single tactic that fails. "Oh, he was too aggressive, and lost his wicket cheaply, awful player"... "Oh he was too defensive and allowed pressure to build, awful player"... What is this magical level of aggression that perfectly fits cricket? Let me guess, the level of aggression that a player who scores over 50 might just so happen to have had... Well, players who score over 50 have always gone at different rates, depending on condition. Cricket isn't about too defensive, or too attacking, it's about personal styles and each player being effective with it. I very much doubt Aggers would bemoan a Boycott ton.
