McD is keen on loaning Chelsea's Nathaniel Chalobah when his Forest loan expires end of December ... I imagine Job Done will try and keep him though ... he did a super job for Watford last season, so he has experience at this level and showed up well in the grind from January to May ... Wells from Bradford would be a very good signing if we can get him, another brick in the wall for the future and he has that sought after asset, raw pace ... hope Blades stump up some cash for White, the lad will at least be playing and we'll get some money for him, feel we had managers who did not develop him so maybe a move will help him find his potential at long last ... Varney simply cannot play for Leeds, he just doesn't have the temperament, needs to be at a club where there is less expectation ... we really do need another goalscorer, but who will let one go in January?

Leeds in talks with St Ettiene for Gradel, loan to buy. Posh want money for Rowe, he may stay there for rest of season. Forest considering extending Chalobah loan, but questions are there about his happiness at City Ground.

I think I've heard the most stupid rumour of this window...

Sky Sports Rumours says Tom Ince is coming from Blackpool. He wants to move to a northern club to be close to his family

I would find it hard to believe. Surely a PL side would be in for him.

That said, unlike some prat on FB, I would certainly welcome him.

Indeed Wolves. That said, stranger things have happened. So let's see what happens.

Doesn't mean he's going to us, btw.

Keep an eye out - Kevin Phillips mentioned as a free, not wanted by Pulis ... Jack Cork on loan, not playing at Saints.

Plenty of rumours doing the rounds and some are funny, some make sense and some are left field.

The player who is going to the prem is Jack Butland. If this is true it means that BMcD has been looking for keeper.

Players he's spoke to are: Nhaki Wells and Wifred Zaha. I know zaha has been mentioned before and we laughed, but I've seen a text from an ok guy who swears he was in Revolution and wootton was there. he spoke to him at the bar and he hinted that we were speaking to a man utd player who's fast as fook and will score goals for fun in this league. Guesses? oh and BMcD had asked Wootton to convince said player to join us. Moyes has also stated today that he's willing to let Zaha go to one of 2 championship clubs for a year to get experience.

Cameron stewart could sign today or in the morning?

David Bentley is doing the rounds again.

The palacePensioner may be coming - Kevin Phillips - too old for me

I would like to see us expressing an interest and more for Graham Dorrans at WBA. I think he is likely to join Forest, however I'm sure any interest from Leeds would make him think about things.

I believe that McD is after a keeper other names I've read on the rumour sites have been Smithies at Huddersfield and Flinders at Hartlepool. I think Stewart will be a matter of time. Wells I thought was nailed on until I read Billy Sharp getting mentioned yesterday. Doubt Zaha will be coming. Bentley is a bit of a strange one but the fact he's a free agent might tempt McD. Agree with you on Phillips, too old. Wouldn't be surprised if he gets released and retires in the summer.

Wolves the problem is that some managers will always revert to type if the wheels come off their plans. Even Harry said last week that he was tempted by Kevin Phillips but had heard he was signing elsewhere? So if Harrys tempted lets hope our guy isn't. Phillips will not be able to play every game and most of the last 2 seasons he's been a benchwarmer, so if he's not good enough for a start at Blackpool or Palace he's not good enough for us unless we're desperate.

Dorans would be a good shout though, I like that and don't WBA have a striker available who can't get a game because of the young kid Berahino and Anelka?

I can't see Anelka staying at West Brom for much longer not only because he moves club every year or so but it's not been the best time for plus there's the whole anti-Semitic thing going on.

Amazing that Gradel could be going to Hull and we get their reject ffs.

2 more Chelsea players go on loan to championship clubs today.

How many deals have already been done, yet we knew who we wanted weeks ago and have spoken to all of them prior to the window opening ..... nobody here yet

We need to be more realistic. Gradel's trying to get into the Ivory Coast squad for the World Cup; if he's given the choice between a mid-table Premiership side and a mid-table Championship side, who is he going to pick? Who would you pick? For all he knows, he may not get another chance to feature in a World Cup.

Cameron Stewart's done very well on loan at Charlton by all accounts, I'd be pretty pleased with the signing personally. We need pace and width, and he'd offer us both. He's also still very young and has room to improve further, which is the type of signing I'd like to see us make on a more regular basis.

As for loans, I'd much rather make permanent signings than loans...although there are good loan players out there. McDermott's already said he's not a fan of loan signings unless there's the potential to make it a permanent signing anyway.
