Think you have a good young manager there, was hoping he would be Laudrup's successor but wish him well at Cardiff. IMO he is just what you need; young and hungry for success - and he wasn't a bas player either!

I see that reportedly OGS is on £4m with a £2m bonus if he keeps you up (nice work if you can get it). Does anyone know how does that compare with Malky's package? £4m will make OGS the 6th highest paid manager in the Premier League!
If he gets us into the top 6 within 3 or 4 years it will be worth it, if you want the best you have to pay for it.
He only has a rolling contract too. Therefore you'd expect a year by year contract to be worth significantly more per season than one guaranteeing 8-9mill over 3 years regardless of success or failure. AVB has pocketed about 20mill by being **** for less than 2 whole seasons! 2m is pocket change to a side that has retained its PL status too!
Haha - Freudian slip I think! Play bass, rhythm and lead myself and have been a professional muso for years - think I was subconsciously expressing my love of football and music! Continuing in that vein, think OGS would be a maestro!
