It's been reported by Phil at HDM that Tom has completed his move to Blackburn for a fee somewhere in the region of 500k.

    COnfirmed by the club.

We really should have tried to involve him in a deal for Rhodes.

Either way, good luck to the lad. I really liked him while he was here, had certainly had the potential but never showed it often enough like he is now at Rovers. He's been their player of the season from what I have heard.

on official site now. Probably the right time to move on, wonder how much we'd have got if he wasn't out of contract

I feel if he was going for £1.5 or £2 million then that might have been an option but £500k is buttons in terms of a deal for Rhodes.

    He's got a 3 1/2 year deal, it's a very good move for him.

    Makes sense.

Is Corry Evans getting regular football there?

Is there a sell on clause? This seems a good deal for Blackburn if the fee is the total deal.

He's injured atm and has been for a couple of months, but he played most games before his injury.

Good luck to the lad, I always thought he had a lot of talent but was disappointed that he never seemed to look like fulfilling his potential.

Just hope we've included a sell-on clause because if he ever does fulfill his potential, we'll be kicking ourselves if we haven't!

Good luck to him. Was best that he left to show his talent. Just a shame it didn't work out here

It seems the fee is £600k and there are some add-ons.

How can people bandy around fee's when they're disclosed? I don't see how people can make statements like these without revealing a source, else it just doesn't look credible. Seeing it on twitter or whatever is fine, just mention it please.

Good for him though, he wasn't good enough for us, and he should have a good career there abouts.

I hope we fixed a good sell on clause, because there is fair chance Tom will demand a largish fee in the future. £600k's a fair deal though. Good luck to him <ok>

He's the reason I use '14' in my name... was the first player I got on the back of a shirt, and really liked the look of him in that second PL season. Pity it didn't seem to work out for him after that. All the best to him! Saw him play a few weeks ago against QPR and he looked excellent.

Well, we have an even better player wearing the no.14 now...

...and before Cairney, it was Garcia who wore it. So it fits pretty well.

Yep not denying that, just sad to see him go. Obviously had strong links to Garcia too, and now Livermore, who scored against the Scousers while I was wearing Tom's shirt.
