Harry rates Zamora very highly, so it comes as no surprise that he also rates a very average performer like Cole. Please no!!

The only possible advantage would be that he would take some attention off Charlie if they were played together by virtue of another physical presence.

 

Let's hope West Ham keep him.

Well as we seem to have 1 and a half (Austin, and half a game, half a size, half a brain AJ), think we need 2 and a half more then. Can't count BZ and it seems Hitchcock is off again.

 

Austin is one, AJ and zamora combined can even make one decent forward so we need at least 2, 3 if we are to play 442, 2 to start, 2 on the bench and 1 to cover injuries/ suspensions.

 

Hope this doesn't happen.

HR has brought in some decent players - Austin, Philips, Simpson, Dunne - and most of those you have an issue with - Zamora, AJ - were signed by other managers. And you're still prone to emphasise the negatives a little too much for my liking.

How can he say that with a straight face? How could he start the season with one fit striker and yet come out with that now?

Carlton Cole would be the one of the 5 strikers that could come off the bench, but he's definitely not a starter for me.
