As a passionate fan I find it hard to understand how people can read things on here without responding?? Some threads have hundreds of people reading them, but they must only be about 20 of us that make this site what it is.

Ffs people, get a personality and start putting your point accross, its not hard!

The bottom line is , if your opinion dosn't agree with a certain poster on here it decends into a personal slagging match and inevitably spoils the original post.

Don't think telling people to get a personality is going to help mate, although I agree it would be nice to see some new posters/ perspectives on here.

If I can hear a sentence and understand the nuance of its delivery, then I can respond. It may well be the internet but it's a football one and since others revel in taking parts of sentence out of context to prove or contradict another's argument just does not work in print.

As threads go on I find that what starts off as a reasonable discussion subject becomes a slanging match - but as long as there is an emoticon at the end of it then it's OK.

I read all this board but generally cannot be bothered to respond to general claptrap.

Sometimes it's just easier to pick & choose. Work hours/family & time zones also play a big part tbh.

Don't worry there's always been more lookers than posters, not just on here btw.

I must admit though that I'm guilty of not posting a lot in the past 6 months <doh>

Ps. I'm at work now telling others to work....but I am the Boss :emoticon-0140-rofl:

Tees, I'm a firm believer in live and let live. People can do as they please.

People have as much right to sit and read without posting, just as much as those who do post on a regular basis. It's down to the individual and them only.

To be honest if there was too many posters, you could get lost in conversations if there's posts going on every minute. We also have the board for most posts, I believe.

I probably fall into this category, but always chip in with a view if it's something I feel strongly about. I don't particularly care about the old slanging match issue but I wouldn't be surprised if it does put people off sometimes - you can sometimes get a lot of abuse as a newbie, or if you are not a very-well-known poster.

I also don't usually post when people have said what I'm thinking and I can't add anything useful. This happens quite a lot because we do have a good core of well-informed and passionate posters on here :emoticon-0148-yes:

    **** result today btw!
