Sunderland manager Gus Poyet: "It is difficult to take. Football is unpredictable but when you start well and have chances you have to take them.

"Unfortunately the mistake [from Lee Cattermole for Gabriel Agbonhlahor's goal] was against us and after that there were too many nerves and too much tension.

"I don't know why they were nervous and we were not organised enough. People were making individual decisions, but not thinking as a team and that disappoints me. I'm getting a little bit fed up.

"The weakest people look for excuses and it is all down to us to correct it. We miss quality to play at this level and do what we need to do when we are in control of the game."

What an honest bloke Poyet is .... feels it like the supporters doesn't he?

I'm certain he'll get us through this problem ..... can't wait for the next match, it's like some great adventure trekking through the jungle.

Loads of snakes and setbacks but some incredible memories <ok>

I'm on reality mate .......... relegation battles are long, hard and full of setbacks.

We're 4 points off safety and with **** teams losing to other **** teams ......... Palace couldn't win at home against 10 man Norwich.

They have to come to Sunderland with a bunch of players we'd hate to sign for Sunderland.

Hull lost again and have 1 home match in January, Chelsea ........ then they have to come to Sunderland.

I'm not saying we will do it but we can do it.

Sadly we have to win to make a difference. Can't see us doing that sadly.

Us, west ham, palace, fulham, cardiff and norwich. Any 3 from 6, we must win our winnable home games and avoid defeat at fulham and norwich, otherwise we are down, i know i'm stating the obvious like

We need to win games mate, that's obvious ........ it won't be easy, we're the bottom club, but it's possible.

The ****'s hitting the fan, at the bottom, with sending's off, penalties and shock results.

We just have to keep our nerve better than 3 other teams.

Hull lost away to Liverpool - So what?

Hull are 10th, 9 points clear of you and with a goal difference of 15 ahead of you even though we only have your cast-off striker. We will add a proper striker in January so I think you will have to set your sights at teams a little lower down the league. The worry for you is that Cardiff and Crystal Palace also have a January kitty to spend.

If you ,WHU and Palace lose next league matches I imagine better players on decent wages will be sold.
I wrote before today that I thought you could catch us up before we visit sol.I now think we are safe as the bottom teams just cannot produce enough wins-esp if high earners(Wes) are moved on

This has cheered me up because it is exactly our problem and I am glad the manager knows it.

We bought quantity in the last couple of windows and not quality. Poyet needs to add a couple of decent players and then we will have a fighting chance.

We are very ponderous in the final third. Scared to shoot or make a killer pass. We are much too slow allowing defenses time to organise. We had pretty much all the possession and should have been at least 1 up until we gifted Villa a goal. Massively frustrating that we have dominated Villa, Norwich and Fulham and come away with a point. Unless we can get some one to shoot or great chances we will be relegated.

You are one win away from being in the mix again, that's how I see it, and if you can get Fletcher and Borini pairing well up front in the right games I think you'll be fine. I don't see you going down, but January will be crucial to many teams this season, including ourselves, there's a long way to go yet, look at your come back at Cardiff? I'm sure Poyet knows what needs doing.....................<ok>

    Aye ok Mourinho.

He's buying exactly what we need. A left back with pace who likes to overlap and get forward. This is exactly what we need to get in behind defences, especially at home when teams are parking the bus.

Just go and boil your ****ing head or summit.
