what is your truthful opinion of Grayson, and do who do you think will get automatic promotion next year from the championship
1. Good manager who's done improbably well under a meagre budget. Has won some brilliant matches, transformed us into a truly exciting team when attacking and made some clever signings on the cheap but at the same time he's made mistakes like inaction in the transfer market, too many loanees, naive team defending and a lack of squad rotation. Overall he's been a 7/10, should definitely stay for another two seasons before people call for his head. 2. Reading (strong squad, great winning mentality) and Leicester (£).
Yes I thought Reading would be strong, I expect Cardiff will be there or there abouts too. Bloody tough league to get out of.
Ok manager but I would call many of his signings into doubt, match decisions as well. The next year will define his reign.
Bad signings and bad match decisions, very loyal which I love, hate his boring voice and he's turned us into a dreadful footballing team, cant pass for sheet. Last chance for me
He will get until Xmas as the Smurf doesnt wait around too long and if we are not in the top 6 and close in points to 2nd then Bye Bye - all he needs to do is get some money to buy a solid defence who can defend set pieces. last year up until the last 2 games we were the top scorers so if we keep the forwards we will be fine on that front. Without the defence though we will be also rans
So long as SG finds a decent DM, he'll be here for a long time to come. If he gets said DM or is able to use one of our current squad successfully, we'll be odds on for auto
cant see Cardiff being there this year.... Reading maybe if they hang onto a few of their players but some prem teams are sniffing around Long and Mills. Birmingham ...no chance they look in a real mess Leicester i think will be strong as will Forrest (McClaren no mug) Blackpool will be ok but agin think they will loose a few... All in all i think with some right additions in the right positions (DM,LB,CB) i think we will be ok if we hang on to the rest. We did play some amazing stuff last year and if we had spent in Jan on a DM and a CB on loan i think we would have gone up. 6 games cost us last year and we all no which 6 Roll on the season
More worried about two of the three coming up in Brighton & Southampton than the ones that came down. West Ham with big Sam & a few sheets to spend SHOULD be up there. Agree about Forrest & Reading. My top six IN NO ORDER are listed below Reading Leeds West Ham Southampton Forrest Ipswich (suprise a few this year)
I'm not sure about Reading, they look almost certain to lose a couple of players and they could suffer from a post play-off hangover. Cardiff have lost almost all of their players and have no manager, so I don't expect much from them. Think how well we do depends on how successful we are in the transfer market.
i think grayson shud go he has gone as far as e can with leeds----ran out of ****house rolls bates buys is own now
