Apparently Arsene has said that Bendtner won't be fit for the Spurs game. Looks like Poldi through the middle again.
Would have given Spurs a chance had Rooney not played, but he is, and has been pretty brilliant this season.
I've never left a game before the final whistle. Actually, only once when I got ejected but that's another story. I don't get what the rush is either. I used to stay behind and watch the highlights on the big screen, read a bit of the programme and then take a slow walk to the pub for a pint. If you leave it twenty minutes after the final whistle, most people have gone anyway.
Correction to my earlier post, Wenger has said Bendtner could be out for "weeks" with this injury. Get the chequebook out then Arsene.
Wenger has already said striker is the only position he's looking at in the transfer window, not giving much away though, just the usual comment about special players
I agree about staying till the end, but it is all part of my silly rituals, I stay in the foyer at first 10mis of the second half and always leave 10 mins before, unless we are winning comfortably.... I need to stop this silliness.
Even then surely Wenger must realize its time to get the chequebook out. He got Arshavin during a winter window and it proved a brilliant signing (for a time), if anyone can spot talent now its us.
ah but if you look back, he never actually said he was the best, just that he thought he could be up there with the best - in fact I think he was replying to a question by the media and followed it with somethng like 'sure, why not?' It was a sign of confidence but got misquoted as usual, then used to ridicule him leading to his desire to leave. Yet another example of media against Arsenal, you can't imagine them doing that if Rooney for example came out with the same thing.
Probably right But I don't think Bendy did his reputation at Arsenal very much good with wanting out, that said he's been given a golden chance again and so far he's taken his opportunity well
Wenger on Ozil: "The specialist says he could be ready for Saturday. I believe he will be short though."
I admit albeit grudgingly that Giroud is the best striker we have. We also seem to play to his strength irrespective of whether he plays or not.
I quite like the guy, ok he's been a bit of an arse at times but nothing most young guys with too much money wouldnt do, and he still tries hard when called on. I wouldn't be unhappy if we kept him, as long as we do get another top striker.
