Bruce is pretty forthcoming in the media with news like that. That's why I think Graham hasn't being recalled either.

So you think he'd announce it on the morning of a key game in which said player will play?

What are you saying... you think Bruce would have kept it from Livermore, and/or Livermore would have kept it from the rest of the team???

Cairney to replace Livermore. You are joking right? They are completely different sort of players. We don't need a playmaker, we need someone who wins the ball and breaks down the opposition, since when did Cairney fit into that category, you oaf.

Recall Cairney to replace Livermore, are you totally nuts? Cairney's tackling ability is ****, he hardly ever moves faster than a slow trot....get real

You don't think they'd be recalling Thudd if he was only on loan?

Thats the biggest misconception alongside the one that Cairney does get back and help the defence. Anyone who watched him last year at the start of the season or at any time will know he does, and his tackling is not that awful, its just good to use the same old tired clichy's to judge a young player.

I do agree that him and Livermore are completely different players, but i would still recall Cairney as if we don't we will have a lack of depth in midfield, whether there different players or not we will still need some cover if Jake goes.

No, I'm saying he'd keep it from the media and the fans. I would.

I tend to agree, also Levy and Baldini are the ones who sanctioned his loan and potential sale, and they are still there. Spurs will be looking to sell to get money in to strengthen, and their sights are high, so hopefully they will cash in on Jake.

I thought season-long loans that involved a fee couldn't be recalled. I'm sure the fee for Thud involved a loan fee for Livermore, which would mean Spurs cant recall him, or am I wrong?

You've just saved me having to write this out myself <ok>

Also Cairney has been having a fantastic season at Blackburn so far. He's a bit different to Livermore and Meyler would be the obvious replacement, but Cairney could definitely do a job as and when. I doubt we'd get anyone to fill the cavity Livermore going back would leave in January, at least not affordably, so I'd look to use our own resources to add the squad depth back and see if Tom can cut it.

Maybe this is why the Nick Powell rumours are doing the rounds, a player of similar ability and age and maybe take up the loan spot available if JL goes back.

Not sure Spurs will want Jake.I think our players are gelling really well for us but I do not think many of the top clubs would see them as anything but fringe players.Main excepions being Hudd and central defence

Without wanting to be too pedantic, we won't really be able to make that comparison, will we? :D
