Not true...he has his uses. If you can keep him motivated he is a good player...not a main striker, best used as a link up player. on his day, unplayable...other days, frustrating.
You said that at 23/24, he should be around our first team. Boyd was playing non-league/lower league football at that time, and he's proved a PL quality player. Wells looked very good against Arsenal and Villa in the League Cup last year and would be worth a punt imo, more so than a donkey like Samaras.
Sorry should have made it clearer I think he would learn more training and playing practice games with our squad than remaining at Bradford,not saying he should be in the starting eleven. I am not against signing him if the price was right, if Brucie rates him that's good enough for me.Agree about Samaras would rather sign a donkey of the four footed variety we could at least use for giving rides to the young tigers before kick off.
