As far as I know he is only banned from this section. If he wants to come back he can pm us. I'm always happy to give second chances though it does usually end up getting me in trouble.

It's up to him if he wishes to come back and behave himself (again). We're all big boys (and girls?) on here.

His user profile still says "Senior Member" rather than "Banned", so he's certainly not got any kind of site-wide ban, to be honest I couldn't remember us ever actually banning him, I thought he just went off on one then disappeared. Might have missed it all happening though. I'll get brb to check, shouldn't be too difficult for him.

Yeah killing people on the streets like the IRA did, how heroic for innocent people to be killed for an ideal rather than keep it peaceful and true to the matter... Maybe you should stop reading so many pro Mandela books, Mandela films and wikipedia when in fact that Mandela was a very violent man.

I hope you are not one of those people who try and intimidate people into believing what ever they believe is 'correct' by doing one of those smeer campaigns to discredit me or something by insinuating that I'm racist so I fall in line to your beliefs or something. 'History is written by the victors', something you seem to have forgotten it seems. Sounds like you are a bit angry about that subject since it kind of looks like you have a problem with that and are intending to escalate it between ourselves which I find highly amusing since I study Psychology and all so it makes why wonder why... are you just seeking attention or something since this isn't the first time you have acted this way?

Define difference between freedom fighter and terrorist, both still kill people to get what they want and I look at them as the same. Anyway I have facts that Mandela pleaded guilty to all charges of violence/terrorism in court and refused his party to hold back on them even if peace was certain if he did this, so no... I don't think I'm racist when it's a known fact he was involved and had other agendas other than racial equality.

P.S Ditch the condescending attitude as it wont do you any favours with me or anybody here.

Hey come on now. No need to start a spat here. I made a genuine request and the mods are looking in to it. Can't ask any more than that. All Manny has to do is PM them to discuss.

I really don't see any of this holier than thou. We're pretty much left alone by the mods unless we step over the clear lines set out, and then we get a slap on the wrist or a ban if we go too far.

Modding a board is a thankless task, I certainly wouldn't do it.

Ah, we all get on our high horse now and again (I know I do, it's the aspie in me), it's said you should never discuss religion, politics or German racing drivers if you want to avoid a row. As to Mandela, meh, more of a Ghandi man myself, beat the most poweful empire the world has seen by not fighting, (then got killed by the people he freed, oh the irony) now that's a hero.

Thank God I'm an atheist so I don't have the dilemma of whether to pray for Schumi, Mandela, Silver's folks or the Syrian children. Then again, why not pray for them all if you're that way inclined ;)

Pray for me Max, pray for me, I think I may end up with a 'head injury' later tonight and be in some sort of coma by the morning

These two posts merged in my mind, for some reason. :emoticon-0125-mmm:

Ernie's New Year Message, probably the wisest words I'll hear tonight ;)

As it's New Year, I'll pray for Manny and Road Runner to return, Ernie not to leave again and for Miggins to have an injury-free New Year. Amen.
