Setting aside we expect to be playing 11 LFC players and 4 Officials tomorrow, what's the general feeling of you lot on when Skrtel will finally give a penalty away for his shirt removal attempts?
About bloody time we had the officials on our side. If Shrtel gives away a pen....., well he's been sailing close to the wind for a long time. As long as we receive one for a similar offence at your end.
Valencia a squad player. And look at the teams the others are playing for. Aston Villa, Hull, Fulham & Stoke. And Figueroa is the only one starting out of all 4. If you're using players that can't even get games at relegation battling sides as proof of Steve Bruce's quality transfer policy then maybe you're not very good at understanding this football stuff
dont have issues with Skrtel giving away pens, been expecting it for a while to be honest, but if its given against us for that reason then we should get the same the other end and we dont or wont, esp if that ****stain Webb is ref.
happy new year to the muck... on skertl... no what pen exactly has he given away in the what 5-6 years he's been at anfield? he's never done anything different in that time. he's ALWAYS looked at the man not the ball and I can clearley remember under rafa him giving a goal away by doing his and his man getting away from him. In any event.... webb dones't give pens... have you guys not clocked him as a ref... self serving, played to the crowd, saves up his cards for grandiose gestures of control, blows up every dive and lets no flow in a game... unless its in the pen... you needs to be beheaded to get a pen off webb.... he's never been a manc, but pandered to the big clubs and home town games. I can recall plenty of games he's reffed for us but thats forgotten cos for every one we get he's at old trafford doing the game. ... here is tobes still trying to prove himself right by pointing out one player (one decent player who ran out of wigan as son as he could) and a bunch of journeymen... bruce is a crap manager who can get a side up (mick mccarthy again) but can't do anything while up.
Oh do **** off mito Everything is relative & resources play a massive part in how PL become established. The point is that Bruce is a good manager & I'll take the opinion of fans of his current & previous clubs over the waffle of a one eyed clueless goon like you lad
that argument work both ways the amount of ****e we have to put up with telling us KING KENNY! and Rafa are crap is a joke.
We're talking about neither of those two mate & I don't think anyone would seriously class either as being crap anyway
Done Frank me old mucker Feeling a bit liverish mate? I actually stayed relatively sober last night ffs.
Had a good night with a few libations and plenty of calls, texts, and Skypes from around the world. No hangover this morning and no need to go out as it's raining like **** and blowing a gale. So I'll save all my angst for the game
Grim here today as well I'd toyed with the idea of going to Stoke today but decided against, as we played them there on New Year's Day a couple of years back & not only did they do us, but it was a hideous experience all round, so I'm staying in & will watch all 3 live games on the box & then the darts final - happy days!
Yeh it's the sort of sad reality about the PL. Don't think he'll ever get a chance at a rich club unless there's a takeover and he just happens to be there... some managers like Big Sam and Bruce just seem to get passed by and lose the chance. Although I guess Sam should never have lost the Newcastle job when he did. Anyway, hoping for a good game today. I like Hull and liked you guys last time you were up... for whatever reason! Too hungover to deal with anything but a Liverpool win.
fairness to hull here... you didn't give up and kept trying. fair play. we were about 60% today. first 25mins were dirt from us. started pressing and working then.
