If we critically appraising Bruce as a manager then I have to say the he is a failure. No side that he has managed ever does stabilise. An initial response is soon matched by a disasterous loss in form which results in Bruce getting the sack! The pattern has been repeated too often for it to be just one of those things. Moving on to the up-coming match then there will be an element of revenge in Liverpool's approach. Therefore I do not find it hard to even consider a 4-0 victory to us. That will be hard for the Tigers to face but they can reflect upon the experience on their long sad return to their suburb of Grimsby
It's not as though i "kicked off" Dave. I hope most of you will recognise that ? Just a bit of good humoured banter. I've no problem at all with Mito calling us muck. I just picked up his baton and ran with it. Read through my posts on here, do i really sound upset ?
yes need a cuddle ask luv. i could see it was tongue in cheek after realizing why it had been done, but i didn't know about mitos comments before i posted as to why you did it.
Ah so i missed a K as in hull f'n kingston... Anyone on here rememebr eljeficto and KPH57. old KP was from hull.... thats going back a bit.
They're all still in the PL, what's your point? I listed them in response to the ill founded comment the the only bought English players & United rejects - which is patently untrue All the players listed were bought for a relative pittance for WIGAN & the ones that didn't run their contacts down were sold for a huge profit
Yet again you spout off about something you patently know nothing about Bruce took Brum to the PL twice, took a poorly resourced Wigan side to a comfortable mid table position. The only blot on his CV was Sunderland, but everyone's allowed 1 failure -just ask Rodgers who was canned by Reading.... He's doing a superb job at Hull & I'm sure your prediction will be about as accurate as the rest have been this season - as yours make Lawro's look decent Edit: I think you'll find there's a rather large expanse of water between Hull & the cod heads
oh and its all in good fun as I am f'n bored having been off and trapped in a house with 4 kids and the wife since the 18th... or was it the 16th... GOD! hull are muckity muck muck... mostly cos steve bruce is their manager.... had it not been for nick barmby most lfc fans would wonder why are a rugby town playing football.
oh an everton fan defending a manc... quelle suprise! Bruce ran out of sheff utd and huddersfield, lasted 5mins at wigan and palace who he also left when he was "flavour of the month"... at least your manager tobes knows what "loyalty" or at least "completing the job" means.... 6 years at brumland didn't precisely turn them into much of anything did it? mid table in fact then relegation... had he left birmingham rather than sign a long deal his path of never doing anything but moving up the totem pole might have continued. At leas the got them back up.. wigan.. promotion and mid table.. obscurity... then another club move to sunderland who he really did great at.. anyway... best of luck with him hull fans... if you hear he's signed a long term deal there's a worrying trend with mr bruce.. his teams go in the toilet and he looks to move on.. and gets a big pay off. I must as tobes however.... are birmingham and wigan in the prem now? nope... the fact is he either got the push or move clubs any time a club struggled. A journeyman manager who can get you up but can't do much else... like mick mccarthy for example... now there is a guy who mirrors bruce's career in terms of promotions but has never jumped ship, only got the push. anyway... tomorrow LFC have an excuse.. I hate when we have an excuse... "tired and injured" bless. a real side like Tobes (laughs out the side of my face at that) would not make excuses.... real fans vanish when sunderland beat them
I remember them, weren't they brothers? As for Bruce, a bit of a dinosaur in his approach to the game. Doesn't coach the team himself, falls out with players on a regular basis who are then moved on to the detriment of the club [Ferdinand, Jones]. He bought 30 or more players at Sunderland most of whom moved on meaning no cohesion at the club. Funny how none of fergie's protégés have been much good at management. That said I hope he does well with Hull - after tomorrow
Go and look at his record again and then come back when you find a club that he has managed that weren't glad to see the back of him of believed that they would not be better off with another manager. If you care to look a little closer you would have found that Hull and Grimsby are not even in the same county! But then I wouldn't expect you to be able to get beyond the mundane
hark what's this tobes thinks he knows everything about yet another topic... wonders will never cease!
My point was obvious. He never signs players that perform well for a long time. Which is why he always tails off after a decent season or two. Its easy enough to sign players who start well with a bit of momentum but its a different thing getting players that can perform at a good level for 5 or 6 years. That's the difference between Bruce at Birmingham/Wigan/Sunderland and someone like Moyes at Everton (as an example).
of course! I forgot.. he got 100% on that and then 100% on general knowledge too... all that stuff about bookies and all sorts that he comes out with ranging from accountancy to engineering to the LFC youth team.
Posted without a hint of irony I imagine You pontificate about many a subject lad & then take side swipes at anyone who dares to question your spelling & grammar error strewn, boring as ****, essays. Happy new year
Valencia is still a member of the United 1st team ffs As is Figueroa at Hull, the others all still ply their trade in the division years after they were sold by his former club I. E. Your point was bollocks
According to Stephen Hawkins..He asks Tobes for advice on the universe, quantum physics, and the time space continuum. The man on the street just thinks he's a brainless blue-nose gobshite
