Or so it would seem. Any thoughts on the lad. Did he bring something to the team we were lacking and would you like to see Mick try and extend his loan. Although I suspect as nothing been announced this is unlikely.

I think he's decent enough but I think we're pretty well stocked in that area with our own players, we've got Tabb, Hyam, Skuse, Wordsworth there plus others who can fill in or even a couple of youngsters and I don't think he offers us anything a great deal different to what we've already got. I'm not overly against resigning him but I'd rather us use our own players, blood some youngsters or even try to sign someone who's a bit different permanently rather than bring in a loan particularly as we don't look in danger of being relegated and I'd say we're in the early stages of a rebuilding process under Mick.

Mick says that the deal has been done until the end of the season.
    Taken from TWTD...

The Town boss confirmed that midfielder Ryan Tunnicliffe will be remaining on loan from Manchester United for the rest of the season and will be available for the New Year’s Day game against Charlton.

“Tunners is staying,” he said “He wants to go back and speak to David Moyes and see what his future is and where it lies, but he wants to come back and play. We’ve agreed the deal until the end of the season.”

Personally I would prefer to let him go and bring someone in that offers something different but keeping him isnt a terrible decision either so its not a major issue either way for me

You say that TB but look at where we are with our current team. People keep talking about this and that, creativity etc, but to be honest, we're not doing too badly with the way Mick has us set up.

SD, we do have a decent position. That's why I said it doesn't bother me either way. I think other players can do what he does without leaving us short but we are above my expectation levels currently so fair play to MM & the team

Very simply we have a winning formula, let's keep it going and build on it. I think his quality is better than Wordsworth and no question he has won us a few points this season. Very pleased to have Tunners staying.

Thats right Hamps, as MM says " you cant win all your games so lets make ourselves hard to beat " and thats exactly what we do, it aint pretty sometimes but we carry on picking up points.
A lot of teams would have crumbled at Bournemouth when we came under pressure in the second half but for all their corners they never looked like scoring until an unsighted Gherks couldnt hold a fierce shot which rebounded to one of their players. Smith and Berra were immense in the middle of defence so we gained another point on the road in a game we would certainly have lost not so long ago. Hard to beat? Bloody right we are.
