I´ve just seen the goals v Bolton & I´d have to say their goals were bad defending on our part which as some may know worries me. That peno from DN, sorry but my 7 year old could of done better. They look good when they go in but when you miss... tut tut. Our goals were good, abit lucky with our 3rd but the rest were nicely put away with Dyer´s being the pick of the lot (imo). Still all in all a good win, 3 pts & roll on Millwall. Cheers & Happy new year to all you decent NOT606 posters.
I was a bit disappointed with the defending, I thought Morgan had a poor game (he's been having a few recently), as did Nugent; the penalty miss really capped this. However, I though De Laet looked good, as did Drinkwater, especially in the first 15 minutes where he looked like he was going to win the game single-handedly. We've got ourselves a real gem there and I find it strange that he's under appreciated by the fans. Dyer, what more to say? He was superb, especially with his goal, pleased to see Taylor-Fletcher bag one too. This was the first game I've been to since September (2-0 vs Wigan) and it was possibly the best game I've ever seen. The fans were great, especially after Nugent missed that penalty where I felt instead of getting frustrated they really spurred the team on for a last 15 that matched the first. Can't believe how elated I am with Leicester right now.
David Nugent waits for the keeper to commit then puts it the other way. Fair play to Lonergan. He stood up to Nugent and Nugent fluffed his lines Remember Lonergan is better then Schmeichel In fairness to Nugent he has scored 8 out of 10. 80% is a decent strike rate Its just the fact we get so many penalties chances are we will miss a few
