Wasn't hugely bothered by José's version of events. It's expected of opposition managers to be on the wind up, just more irritated at the way it has been reported by the ever-biased BBC.
Get a taxi over to media city Crumpet and cut the power cable to the building, that'll teach the ****s not to mess with LFC.
What will end first, the BBC stopping adding Suarez misdemeanours to every report about us or the DFS sale?
It does my head in that, if I'm wrong fair enough but I've never saw them use the same policy for anyone else with previous.
Should we start a movement to refer to the BBC as the organisation that employes and protects ****philes and bullies. That way we can get everyone who ever has a comment to tag the "BBC organisation that employes and protects ****philes and bullies" to the end of every reference to them until we have started a national phenomenon. As the antics of the likes of Jimmy, Dave, Rolf, and a few others who worked for them have started to become revealed I think we should be ok legally as well. Jose was diverting attention very successfully with the support of the sycophantic BBC reporters, who really need to grow a pair, away from the knee high tackles, and blatant fouling they dished out all match. Brendan to his credit forgot then remembered the experience he had a year ago when writing to the refs association head about the treatment Suarez was getting. The next game against Stoke Suarez had his chest trodden on by Hugh and the ref ignored it, this bit Brendan forgot. Last week he criticized Mason and this week we got nowt from Web , fast forward to his post match interview and "Howard had an excellent game", nothing could be further from the truth but the boy is learning.
There was an article on the beeb website a few months ago about Glenn Hoddle's training and coaching academy, and somewhere in it BBC Salford mention Graham Rix, never saw a mention of him being jailed as a ***** and him being on the ***** register, but I bet on the day the story was on there that there was one about Suarez with a mention of his Evra case at the bottom.
I saw the interviews. he did claim Suarez dived and deserved a yellow but that was following a question regarding the penalty and eto sending off claim. It was obvious to me that his comments were just in defence of his own player. He also claimed he was working with Eto'o on his level of aggression and adaption to the premier league; so I think his comments were more of a defence than anything else. What we have here is another shoddy article written by the BBC. What I find frustrating is no one seems allowed to even criticise referees anymore (not even the media), time after time they are allowed to make stone wall mistakes and they never apologise and always hide behind there own arrogance. That said the way the game is we will probably get a few dubious decisions go for us later in the season to balance things out. But the game should not be like this. Defending Eto. Stone wall penalty. Cut out the mistakes
it wasn't obstruction! it was an attempted stamp! it was a clear red card and would have been if the incident had been on half way.
It'd be funny if the bbc printed the following: Newly crowned PFA and football writers player of the year Luis Suarez has scored 35 goals............ since his return from a 10-game ban for biting Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic during a game last season. He was also banned for seven games when he was at Ajax for biting PSV Eindhoven midfielder Otman Bakkal's shoulder during a match in November 2010. During his time at Liverpool, he has also received an eight-match ban for racially abusing Manchester United left-back Patrice Evra in December 2011 That would say it all about the BBC.... .
If anyone from BBC Salford reads your post mito they'll offer you a contract as chief football writer.
