That's a bold statement to make about a manager who still hasn't had time to rebuild a squad that was already pretty average in certain areas before he arrived plus he has had to deal with replacing someone like Fergie which was never going to be easy, and especially considering United are only 2 points behind Liverpool who are apparently high flying title contenders.

I was getting worried there, came into this thread hoping to see some good old fashioned Manc slagging of us and it turned into a glum fest about how you lot aren't in the title race or possibly even CL spots. Thought the thread title had just been out of habit! But it's ok, Shwan has stated his dream is to get on and lie on top of us so normal service has resumed!

And let me see if I can follow your 'logic': celebrating being top at Christmas is bad.....but as current champions hoping to just be above us (the deluded, destined to be midtable ones) in the league one year later is good?
