I did yeah. First was maybe a foul but it showed how strong he is. The second was a beautiful finish.

He reminded me a lot of Craig Bellamy.

He's a really clever player. He reads the game so well.... But....

Also says that NL said Tony will be part of our plans in the future.

History tells us that the MSM try to unsettle our players in a number of ways. If they play well the everyone from Manchester United to Resl Madrid is interested in them. In this instance, they are trying to drive a wedge between the club and Watt. Wonder how much of that Neil actually did say, if any.

Would love to see him at Celtic but he's contracted to PSG until 2016.

    Lennon on zlatan link.

He'd have to play well to get into our team! I don't know how true the story is but it would be wonderful to bring a player of his quality to the club, although I think that might be some way off.

He also says in the same interview that this story has been taken from, that he will see out his contract there and if he doesn't retire then, he's most likely to play "outside Europe", which I'm guessing means he fancies a wee payday over in the states for a year or two.

The 75% tax on high earners has just been given the go ahead in France.

Expect the big man at Lennoxtown next week.

You are so cynical, as if footballers are motivated solely by cash. Pah

I know you are being flippant but I have one of my cool stories to tell.

I had dealings with a fairly high profile footballer a few years ago. As a matter of record he repeatedly stated that his motivation for signing for a particular club was because of cash and cash only. When asked why he transferred to a different club after that he offered the same rationale. I watched him on tv as he paraded round the pitch with a trophy acting all overjoyed and I figured he must rrrrreally love a win bonus if it was just about the Benjamins.

I suppose some of them who are motivated by the money probably get into the spirit of things and forget about the wages for an hour or so when they actually win something.
