http://metro.co.uk/2013/12/29/vince...ith-number-eight-in-their-birth-date-4244721/ It's good news and bad news for us. Starting with the bad news, Bruce and Huddlestone both have an 8, as does Henderson. Good news, so do Graham, Prossy, Hobbs, and Stewart.
I can't actually ****ing believe what I'm reading there. Vincent Tan is ****ing batshit mental. My birthday is 8th February, I might try to rob Cardiff of a few quid...
Half this stuff is media bullshit intent on forcing Tan out. It's like I read the other day that Tan was upset that Marshall hadn't scored enough goals for the club. None of it is even remotely true, but because he now has a reputation everyone will believe all sorts of ****.
I know this fella's a daft old tool, but do you think that the esteemed publication 'Metro' is just being a tit? I do.
No I don't believe that. On past form I believe they've copied a story from someone else being a tit. I don't know who though.
Burden of proof is never on the person denying a charge, burden of proof is on the person purporting the charge.
Just as a small point, why have they chosen 8th January 1988 as the example of a date that Tan would like? Wouldn't 8th August be better, or is there a particular player they've been linked with that has 8/1/88 as their birth date?
Well I found two players: Michael Mancienne and Adrian Lopez Alvarez. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Mancienne http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adrián_López_Álvarez
Mancienne is being linked with Stoke, so I guess that's who the reporter is suspecting is available and could join them, and in the process prove this theory correct.
funny how it's going tits up for cardiff with their meddling owner whilst for us we've just had the best result in our top flight history.. how do you explain that?
Cardiff's owner is making unpopular decisions that affect on pitch matters whilst ours is making one bad decision that doesn't.
who signed Gedo and Fahti - who keeps trying to set up games with Al Ahly - where is the latest Al Ahly loan coming from - of course he's meddling
This is precisely what it is, total witch-hunt to try and make Tan look even more mental than he is. There will literally be zero truth in this article. As bad as Tan is, it's a disgrace that they can print this. 'According to reports' or 'Sources say' is a get-out from legal action but avoiding being sued does not make it right to print it.
On the basis of your comment, Gedo's goals and therefore Allam's meddling got us promoted to the Premier League.
No more than any other goals we scored during the whole of last season. A winning goal in the first game is every bit as important as a winning goal at the end of the season.
Am I missing the point here? isn't that just any player with a birth year in the 80's ? so broadly any player between 23 and 33
