See the Sun today had an article saying Crystal Palace were coming in with a £3m bid for Williamson. I know he's played well so far ( odd lapses ) but surely we'd snap their hands off seeing as we've got 2 younger CH on the bench in Saylor and Mbiwa. What's your opinions?

The way he is playing we shouldn't sell.

We paid £2 million to get Remy on loan. How many goals has Williamson saved us this season? IMO would be stupid to sell him now.

Willo's playing better than he has all the time he's been here. He's been as solid as a rock lately and we should keep hold of him.

We wouldn't be able to replace him for £3m.

3million no. 6 million I would say sell. We have Mbiwa and Saylor, the dropoff won't be huge.

No, not at the minute, and certainly not for 3 million. The guy has been an absolute rock since he came back into the side.

I think it will be between him, Anita and Matthieu.

    £3m for Williamson? <yikes>

    SOLD!

He's in the form of his life just now but he isn't a player who will be able to sustain that form all season.

Colo is world-class, Williamson is nowhere near that.

Retain all four. Its a good unit of centre halves.

I have to say that Tiote has also impressed me this season, much more controlled and when he deputised for Colo as captain I thought he did a good job.

Willo is 28. That's the age defenders begin to play their best. This might not be a blip.

Also, who would we replace him with who is as good for £3m ? How many goals does he have to prevent before we make up the £3m in performance payments ? (I thin £3m is about 2 league places - - if he keeps his form till the end of the season and never plays well again he would have more than made up for the £3m forgone).

Looks like we'll be keeping hold of him for a while. There is a clause in his contract that stipulates we cannot sell him until he scores a goal in the Premier League.

That's why he hasn't scored, he doesn't want to leave us.

no me ..I wouldn't sell ... I like players who you get a reaction from after being on the bench , playing well not really a gamble anyway .. at 3m nowt nowadays .. I rate him better than taylor , who for me is always injured and does foolish things
