Huddlestone was nothing short of outstanding today.

What a clown. If Thudd was at one of the top 6 they'd be waxing lyrical about him. Today's performance was as good as any we have seen this season from his fellow midfield competitors.

Cheers mate. My first game I was in the Well next to the dug-outs. 10 feet away from Edwards throwing his shirt at Mike England (?). Brentford, I think, terrible game, terrible crowd. Hooked for life !!

I'm not questioning your right to hate. A man is free to hate who he wants. But I feel duty bound to point out that your hatred is not on a level playing field. Cleverley is utter, utter ****e, Suarez is utterly awesome. I guess hatred knows no boundaries.

If you can find a performance like that by Cleverly i would be shocked, he couldn't do half the things Thudd tried today, and he never will do them because technically he was incredible.

nope i said when we signed him, he's the best english passer of the ball by far, he really is just incredible, and the more games and games he gets.. his technique is incredible

cleverley couldn't do half of thudds business on the pitch

I'm sorry but if that's precisely what he said then he's right, I also don't think Huddlestone is in contention for the World Cup squad. That is NOT the same as saying I don't think he should be. I just don't think Roy thinks he's worth a place.

I don't know why everyone keeps going on about this, it is much much better for us if he doesn't get a World Cup squad place.

Don't agree with this. Generally speaking playing at the highest level improves a player at a lower level.

I don't get why people dont want him to go - surely it only helps him and makes him a better player for it?

"Oh, but he might get injured" - and he might not. People say that as if it is certain to happen. He could just as easily get injured in training or pre season.

In years to come, we're all going to be insufferable. When all our kids and grandkids start talking about the current team's star performer, we'll just be banging on with - "yeah, but it's not as good as Huddlestone's performance back in '13".

I was so close to not going today due to a bug - so glad I forced myself to go.
