I would have took him off too, he was ****e first half but very good second. One thing he's very good at is getting on the end of crosses. He scored a few of his goals last season from crosses while playing up front and he did it again today.
Huddlestone Boyd Sagbo Koren and Fryatt are no world beaters, but I'd have either of them partner Sagbo over Graham tbh.
Huddlestone was imperious, even in a superb team performance he stood out Sagbo 2 was quality so willing to run channels great hold up play and pass of the season for the second Koren 3pretty average ay best first half, first goal gave him confidence and then everything clicked Special mention for Boyd too as a stand out performer, everyone else was brill too, the most jizzworthy performance I've ever watched
Sagbo dropped a lot of browny points today for me in the 2 cases we broke 2 on 1 and went for glory from outside the box instead of playing the man in to go 1 on 1, even at 0-0. Luckily for the first one Koren kept running and followed it up winning the corner where we got our opener from. You just can't go doing that at 0-0, it cost stoke 2 points against us not so long ago, thankfully we were so good today we weren't made to rue it. Also thought koren played very well in the first half. What are people basing him being **** from? 2 misplaced passes? He didn't do anything else wrong and was making things happen.
Huddlestone Boyd Elmo Watched in a pub owned by a Fulham fan in Walton-on-Thames. Full of Fulham fans so surreal experience in my City Till We Die scarf. What a performance! Well done all. Superb!
Huddlestone Boyd Koren Fryatt would probably have in their if he'd played longer, looked class when he came on!
1. Huddlestone - Simply out of this world. I'll be baffled if he's not in the World Cup squad next year. 2. Livermore - Again, the lad's distribution was fantastic. 3. Jesus (Boyd) - Thoroughly deserved his goal today. Work rate was absolutely terrific. Well done lads, what a way to bring in the New Year!
Thudd - that is the greatest performance I have ever seen from a City player, bar none. Near perfection. Boyd - work rate was superb, gave everything for the side and deserved his goal. Koren - normally I bash the man but today his second half performance was arguably his best in black and amber. Honorable mentions - everyone else.
Huddleston. Must be best English mid-fielder Koren. A revelation Livermore Hope he's a permanent signing in January
Huddlestone Boyd Sagbo But overall it was an immense team performance. No weak link. Possibly the greatest performance by a Hull City XI in nearly 109 years. Go on doubters name me a better one.
Hudd. Genius. Boyd. Pleased for the gyppo. Work rate and skill. Rosy. If its 4-4-2 he 's playing every week. Well done all the lads and SB and the back room staff. Superb job they are doing.
Huddlestone Boyd Koren Thought every player used contributed well. I bless the day we secured Steve Bruces services, what a great manager and ambassador for the club he is.
1. Tommy Hudd (brilliant performance....oozed class from minute 1 to 93) 2. Curtis Davies 3. Jake Livermore....
1. Huddlestone - Absolute class, I think Brucie is right, probably the most complete performance by any player I've seen. He even gets stuck in to tackles but his touch and passing are a joy to watch. 2. Boyd - proved he can be good enough at this level. Great workrate and excellent allround play. 3. Livermore - again fantastic workrate as always but so much more to his game too, hope we can sign him permanently. Elmo particularly but several others stood out as well and only just miss out. In fact the only players who I thought were below par were Figueroa (poor for the second game running although it didn't cost us today) - Koren (first half but second was like a different player) - Sagbo (yes it was a great ball for the second goal but how people have him in their top three for his overall performance I don't know; he can't hold the ball up, hardly gets of the ground when challenging for headers and when seemingly through on goal appears to suffer from acute Sat Nav failure!)
