Well for once the horse that finishes third will get all the plaudits. What a warrior <applause>

Superb run by Tidal Bay - I fancy he would've won in another 100 yards

Right I've backed Sir Des Champs in the Lexus. I just think he's the one today, can't say why. Very tight race, should be a cracker.

I think that everyone was happy for the old fella there :)

Great finish for a lottery race!

Tidal Bay, what a gallant horse. His owners must be so proud of him. Giving best part of 2 stone to the first 2.

Tidal Bay ran an excellent race trying to concede the best part of 2 stones to the winner. What a grand servant he's been to connections.

I'll be slightly surprised if Bob's Worth wins the Lexus.

What a shame it was just too much weight to give away. With no interest in the race, I was cheering for him as it is the right time of year for a fairytale ending.

I'm a big Unioniste fan, but can't see him winning the Lexus. SDC will win if he recovers from that fall.

Not sure bout the lottery ting reebs -the first and second were well matched on their last course run together -Lee's horse was the stronger stayer in the mud -you also have to give creit to the tactics with the stable mate putting the pace in for the first three miles!

FFS <laugh> Cracking performance from a cracking little horse and rumours of the demise of Seven barrows may have been greatly exagerated.

Looks like Bobsworth is back. What will withstand that sort of finish in the Gold Cup?

How wrong was I? <doh> He ran no sort of race at Haydock, always thought Cheltenham would suit him far better. Expected a Irish trained horse to win today.

Best Mate won the Lexus in 2003 before winning his 3rd Gold Cup. I think Bob's Worth will follow in his footsteps by winning his 2nd Gold Cup in 2014.

Brilliant little horse. I can't see back to back Gold Cups personally as it is incredibly hard, but it depends on who turns up at Cheltenham come March. The more horses with cruising speed, the less chance Bobs Worth has. I personally want Al Ferof, Cue Card, and Conti to all turn up as I think that is where they can take the race out of his hands. Equally, if they don't stay, he will find them all out!

Sir Des Champs isn't finished just yet- that was essentially his first run back and there were some better jumps. Gonna make an interesting betting heat!
