Alex Bruce was again ace squared!

    And that's a scientific fact!

Bruce- he was the best of our defence and literally spilt blood for the team
Sagbo- he made it hard for the Man U defence
Hudd- he got in rooney's face to the extent rooney spit his dummy out, for which the twat should of had at least a yellow

More to the point why no yellow for Rooney's attack on Thud, especially as Fig got one for a **** all tackle on Valencia I think

I don't know what planet you're living on if you blame Bruce for EITHER of their first two goals.

Probably not him for the first having seen it again, but the second he needlessly comes charging out of defence and heads the ball back to them under no pressure whatsoever, then backs off Rooney after his touch giving him space to turn and shoot.

You're making that up mate. He didnt come charging out of defence at all. It was a forty yard ball from Evans which Rooney took on his chest and shielded with AB right up him. When he knocks it off sideways AB has to drop off. Welbeck goes to hold it but CD gets a foot in and knocks it away, unfortunately straight to Rooney. One touch and in. Sometimes its just a great goal.

If you wanna have a go at a defender then it has to be Figgy. Caught too tight for their free kick for the first goal and criminally dived in for the third when all he had to do was jockey Young.

Have to agree with both of these points but especially the second, I was impressed with Fig when he first came but he's becoming a bit of a liability, certainly as a wing-back. As someone has pointed out on another thread, he offers very little going forward and some of his decision making recently has been woeful. Largely at fault for two of the three goals yesterday for me!
