C;mon Gus. Lets look at the facts.

How many games has he played this season?

How many goals has he scored?

Put him up against, say, Suarez? Don't think so.

How many points do you think he has won us?

You are the useless **** in this argument.

    Altidore offers what, exactly?

Lay-offs to no-one there, holding the ball up for midfielders to run on to? Anyone seen that?

For me Altidore seems to need more time than the premier league allows. He scored bucket loads last year in a slower league. He seems to need too much time to set up his shot.
    I do like him but.......

Exactly, never has our opinion been so irrelevant on our players. It's put up or be shipped out as far as they're concerned and any who do make way only have themselves to blame regardless of potential or past form. Gus has a philosophy very different to previous long serving managers who they signed for. It's dog eat dog philosophy that favors the technical.

True...but how many games has Altidore started compared to Fletch..?

Runs of games make plays more comfortable

So you comparing Altidore to Suarez now <laugh> what a mug.

If you look at our set up & look at our midfield then our forwards will not score loads of goals & you banging on about how many goals has he scored. what about the clear cut chances he has had. he is missed one clear cut chance & that was against west ham. you tell me how many clear cut chances he has missed? I be waiting for the asnwer.

Spot on & like you said before when Altidore plays our team plays further up the pitch. just have a look at the games Fletcher plays & see how deep we are.

So. How many goals has he got?

    8? 9? 10?

    No.

Bet he wishes he was still in the Netherlands. I do.

Got a hatful for Hull first time round, didn't he?

It's all becoming irrelevant, gus has his first window imminently and his 2nd one in just 5 months, The pair of them need to get their act together sharpish.

Believe me fella, I'd rather just keep them both if they were scoring, I'm sure Gus would too but at this rate, one is going to make way in Jan and the other in the summer For Gus' own signings. I rate them both but it's down to them isn't it?

We sit too deep when Fletch plays. At least when Jozy plays we're one decent AM from opening up defences in the calm patient way we're set up for.

Lets keep Altidore. At least we can watch him in the World Cup when our lots been knocked out. Giacharini, Ki. Can remember us having a few lads there.

who will start today ,fletch probably will in the long run will score more goals but i think jozy brings a much more workman like thing to the team and brings more players into the game if he gets the ball into his feet
