on the stream the only thing I could hear was " Allam we said no" .. ****ing pathetic. It was dead quiet 2-0 when I put stream. Apparently we can only support the team when it has to do with having a go at AA. I'll never get this. I'm happy you want to send out a message. But how about singing throughout? and directed at players?
Never seen the" jump up" song taking in the whole of the east and south stands before.I think we all just got a bit nervous afterwards. Must say whilst thinking plastic mancs are pathetic they do sing a lot louder than any of the other BIG clubs. Did all the Scandinavians who erupted from the stand get put back in rather than being ejected ?DTF.Any city fans doing that would be receiving bans.
United's away support is generally considered quality purely because there are no plastics that get away tickets.
Don't all clubs, certainly in the PL, give priority to season ticket holders for away games? I know you'll get the odd one in the home stands but generally the away end is all "proper" fans I thought?
please log in to view this image You can't quite see all the flag but you can see enough to make out it says Grimsby Reds. Apparently there was also another saying Hull Reds. Furthermore, just about every weekend I see plastics on my Facebook making a huge deal about going to actually see Man U, posting 50 odd photos, 100 status updates running a live commentary etc., and they're usually away games that are close for the turds to travel to, why would they go all the way to Manchester? So I'd say what's 'generally considered' is a bit of a myth. I've never considered it either. Every Man U crowd is built by plastic ****ers.
Was that the only thing you were listening out for? The atmosphere was excellent yesterday, all the way through. If your stream was crap, or your laptop speakers aren't good enough to pick it up, then that's your problem. Maybe you should actually attend for once?
At 2-0 up, they even started a mexican wave.... it sort of faded out as soon as it hit the West Stand mind.
You've just assumed that they don't go to Manchester United games purely because they live in Grimsby.
I thought the atmosphere and the crowd yesterday were fantastic. There was lots of loud singing throughout the game, singing about Steve Bruce and the team. What really cheered me up was the South Stand actually starting the chanting. I am in E7 so could clearly hear it coming from the south stand then to my right from the end of the East Stand. People around me were singing and jumped up to the appropriate song. At the end of the game the players were applauded off by more people staying behind to do that then usual. How good would it have been for Chezzy to have got that last minute goal, even so I thoroughly enjoyed the whole thing. Just hoping they can pick themselves for tomorrow.
No, I've said they're plastic bastards. Anyone else see those scarves, hull city on one half, Man U on the other. Christ they were queuing for those further than for the turnstiles. Embarrassment. I've decided every day Manchester ushited play is a sad embarrassing day for football.
