Good morning again all! Sadly I was right with my 1-1 Watford prediction ( sounds like we had a great chance to beat them...) As we are all fully aware, the Christmas period with the fixtures coming thick and fast ( makes a mockery of the international break........ but there we go ) is about to be upon us! We have the joys of two LONG distance away fixtures within a 3 day time period ( thanks computer ) to contend with. First up, struggling Doncaster. Lost their last 3, and without a win in 5. We're unbeaten in 5 away fixtures, and on a decent bit of form. I have a feeling this game could be another dour draw affair, I'll go 1-1 again. While this fixture presents us with the perfect opportunity to pick up maximum points, Doncaster are simply not going to lose every fixture and may prove much sterner opponents than many think. ( Obviously hoping I'm wrong on this for sure ! ) McGoldrick really needs to start pinging the goals in on the road. Any news on how long Hunt will be out?
Could this possibly be the worst possible journey....Sunny Doncaster on boxing day does not feel me with any joy at all. I can also see this as a bore draw - i think Donny will defend like trojans and hold out for a 0-0, and MM will come out saying that was a good result, as any point away from home is a good result!!!
we're gonna go there all guns blazing. 0-3. play off push to continue. dids with a brace and berra. coyb
Another tense affair with us shading it 2-1.. Not much of a spectacle but a late winner from Murph being enough to make it a good day
Actually it's one of my favourite away days: nice surroundings, easy parking, comfy new stadium, friendly supporters, great pitch and generally speaking a side that plays it on the deck. Half an hour drive, perfect for Boxing Day I reckon 2-0 Town.
Spot on Hamps we usually go to Donny for all the reasons you ve pointed out, but this time we are going to Bournmouth instead simply because weve never been to a match there. Hiya Westy are you still in Thailand? A merry Christmas to you and all Townies wherever you are.
I predict 4-1 us . Murphy 2 . Goldie and Tommy Smith . I also predict 5th place after the 2nd week of Jan . COYB
I going for a 3.1 to town .. frank 2 , Didsy ... Its my 7 year old lads first away match so I'm hoping for a great atmosphere. Coybs
2-0 Chambers...who gave us 4!? Great stuff....looking steady now and excellent away record. Need another two to give us nice points dififference..
