On Boxing day Liverpool away to Manchester City.Liverpool at the top of the table are to face a stern test as to whether they are genuine title contenders. The pressure is on City because they have one hundred per cent home record .Can Liverpool dent this by getting a draw or work away with three points?. I am going for score draw: Manchester City 2:2Liverpool Thu 26 Dec 2013 - Premier League Hull v Man Utd 2:1 Aston Villa v Crystal Palace 2:1 Cardiff v Southampton 2:2 Chelsea v Swansea 2:0 Everton v Sunderland 2:1 Newcastle v Stoke 2:1 Norwich v Fulham 2:1 Tottenham v West Brom 3:1 West Ham v Arsenal 2:2 Man City v Liverpool 2:2 Injuries: Liverpool S Gerrard Hamstring Injury 12th Jan 14 D Sturridge Ankle/Foot Injury 28th Jan 14 J Enrique Knee Injury 8th Feb 14 S Coates ACL Knee Injury May 14 Manchester City. Hull v Man Utd 2:1 Aston Villa v Crystal Palace 2:1 Cardiff v Southampton 2:2 Chelsea v Swansea 2:0 Everton v Sunderland 1:1 Newcastle v Stoke 0:0 Norwich v Fulham 2:0 Tottenham v West Brom 1:0 West Ham v Arsenal 1:2 Man City v Liverpool 1:2
"Hull v Man Utd 2:1" as long as that happens not bothered about other results lol lets hope Bruce has the attitude of i should be managing utd not you to Moyes, and they do them somehow. who's the ref
Match Appointments Referee: Michael Oliver. Assistants: S Bennett, S Ledger. Fourth Official: D Whitestone. He was the ref for the Liverpool West Ham game and when he gave his only red card for the season so far. Refereed Man Utd twice this season (WestBrom where they lost and Arsenal when they won)
Lawro is calling it home win. Man City v Liverpool (17:30 GMT) Luis Suarez has been nothing short of sensational this season and I have never seen that sort of run of form from anyone before. How tight is the title race? It is that close at the top of the Premier League table that any one of four or five teams could be top by the start of the New Year. Manchester City are still my pick for the title, though. I think all the other managers involved see City as the team to beat - even Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers said that this week. Liverpool? I think they can win it, but I don't think they will win it. As a cynical old pro you tend to think 'well he cannot keep this up' but crikey, every goal he has scored has been a wonder goal. I am expecting another big performance from him at the Etihad Stadium but what I am also expecting is for Manchester City to have loads of the ball, because they always do at home. I just think this is the sort of game where City show not only their ability but also where their power makes a difference. Liverpool will give as good as they get and Jordan Henderson has started to look like a real player in their midfield. But he will have his work cut out on Boxing Day and the City steamroller that has scored 16 goals in three games against Manchester United, Arsenal and Tottenham might get another outing. What Liverpool fans have to remember is that, even if they do only pick up a point or two from their next two games against City and Chelsea then they are still very much in the title mix. Brendan Rodgers' side are not going to go away. They might not always beat the absolute top teams but I would back them to beat pretty much everyone else. Lawro's prediction: 2-0
I predict Lawro finally climbs out of the closet and admits he enjoys a bit of uphill gardening between bottles.
Astounding,a week or two back Lawro was saying that he could not see what Hendo offered our midfield(or words to that effect). Now Lawro notices what most of us have seen for a while,Hendo starting to look like a real player. Just shows alot of these so called 'experts' talk total bollox.
Not so bad, tough year. Now getting sorted, here's to 2014..Liverpool back in the champions league. What have I missed on here?
Well nice to see ya back. As for what you've missed on here, wouldn't know where to start. But tbf its mostly been a good laugh with a sprinkling of poor manc wums along the way.
Ah the lesser spotted manc wum, the bastions of stupidity!! You'll spot them lurking outside sports direct just incase Citeh win the title, I heard in parts of essex charity shops have refused to take anymore utd shirts.
