Joey's red on Saturday came as a bit of a surprise to me. He didn't seem to do anything that awful, but obviously he said something out of order. Just read this; http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/25481003 Can't decide if he is a victim of his reputation, or if he has too much of a gob on him. Thoughts?
This might be a bit off the wall, but throughout the match, Joey seemed to be on a death wish to get booked, irrespective of the bad reffing. My conspiracy theory is that he wanted a longer period up north with his family over Christmas. The theory goes to pop if he is on the coach at Notts Forest.
He could easily have been sent off for the elbow but I think the second yellow was harsh. He's just a petulant, whiny tit who had been in the referees ear all game so i'm not surprised theref had had enough.
There was no elbow, shame on the Leicester player for trying to get Barton in trouble with the ref. neither was a yellow card IMO. Ref trying to make a name for himself.
Defo red IMO and all match he was on the refs case and got his reward for being well... Joey Barton Probably wanted Xmas at home x
It wasn't am elbow you twat. Fletcher went down like he'd been shot by a sniper..............what a big girl's blouse!
The elbow is the synovial hinge joint between the Humerus and the Ulna and Radius. A.K.A. the thing that Barton swings about. I know you don't get a decent education down there, but thats fairly basic
One question I wanted to ask is why do you have a picture of the hull city badge as your image but supposable support Leicester?
I was wondering the same thing, but my take on it is "I LOST A BET", so he had to put the Hull City badge up there as penance? Wish he would just go home for Christmas though - he seems to be everywhere right now, all over our threads. Just watched the Arsenal v Chelsea match (0-0), played in horrible weather - credit to ref Mike Dean as he just let them go at it and play football, allowing for the slippery conditions - at the extreme Ramires only got a yellow after going through his man, and Ivanovic no call, after what appeared to be his boot making contact with Ozil's face. If we had Mike Dean refereeing our game, he would have likely just ignored the Taylor-Fletcher/Barton non-incident and would have allowed play to continue.
No. Because I believe you'll sign another multi million pound striker in January and pull away. I think we'll come in second but I do think you'll win the league. I've said that since day one.
