Wouldn't bother me so long as we keep the performances up, top at Christmas would be a nice bonus but it's a slightly #falseposition anyway since it's after 17 not 19 games

And the team that was on top at Christmas 5 years ago didn't win it. I wonder who that was <whistle>

Even worse, we were something like 8 points clear of the scum that year and f***ed it up.

5 of your last 7 games have been against sides in the bottom half, 4 of them being in the bottom 7......

Aside from Spurs you've beaten no-one of note..........

After these next two fixtures we will have played Arsenal, Chelsea, Man City, Tottenham, Newcastle and Everton away in the first half of the season. With only an away game an utd in the 2nd half.

But we've beaten 10 other "nobodies" and each one was worth 3 points.

Everton are doing great, but you're also joint 1st with West Brom for number of draws so far this season (7). If those 7 draws had been 3 wins and 4 losses instead you'd be 3 points clear at the top.

  9. Seven draws = seven points

Three wins and four losses = nine points

They'd be level on points with us!

So only another 6 Prem teams then <doh>

How many of your next 7 are against teams in the top half? Strangely enough it's two (3 if you count stoke at home who are tenth). Will you have a problem if you win them? Of course you won't so wtf are you on about you miserable bluenose tart? <whistle>

I was responding to a post saying that you've supposedly got an easier run in, by pointing out that your recent fixtures haven't been overly taxing........

As for us, our toughtest fixture (on paper) before the derby at the end of Jan is Stoke away, who we gubbed 4-0 the other week. You've also got to go there in Jan btw.

Or more likely Joe Allen missing an actual open goal to put the game to bed.

  20. Oh come on Tobes, you know as well as anyone that it would have more than likely been game game over had he put that in to make it 3-1 with half hour remaining.
