Young Tom notched his first goal for Crewe yesterday. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25275245 Goals from on-loan duo Tom Hitchcock and Chuks Aneke earned Crewe Alexandra a point against Coventry. Crewe took the lead when Hitchcock finished coolly after receiving a through ball from strike partner Aneke. However, Coventry hit back with a Franck Moussa header and took the lead through Callum Wilson's penalty after he was fouled by keeper Ben Garratt. Crewe responded well and levelled when Hitchcock squared for Aneke to tap in and earn the draw.
Well ive seen 2 minutes of him and in those 2 minutes hes scored the winner against Ipswich. Hope he gets a bit more of a chance in a QPR shirt in his career.
Other "Out on loan" news ..... Michael Harriman played 90 mins for Gillingham in 2-2 home draw with Peterborough. Hogan Ephraim came on for PU after 77 minutes. Max Ehmer played for 77mins for Carlisle in 4-1 win over Tranmere. Yellow card. Loic Remy played for Newcastle in 1-1 draw at home to Southampton. Adel Taarabt didn't make squad for Fulham. Yun Suk-Young didn't make squad for Doncaster. Frankie Sutherland didn't make squad for Orient. Mo Shariff didn't make squad for Dagenham. Angelo Balanta didn't make squad for Yeovil. Jordan Gibbons didn't make squad for Inverness Caledonian Thistle. Couldn't give a toss about M'bia, Granero or Park Ji-Sung. Whoops, edited by mistake when I meant to reply - sorry -Roller
You can probably remove Frankie from your list Eamon, I doubt that he will be playing again this season.
We have no striker on the bench and Hitchcock scores again for Crewe....... Crewe and Shrewsbury shared the spoils in a hotly-contested 1-1 draw. Alex took the lead when on-loan QPR striker Tom Hitchcock nodded home from the six-yard line after great work by Mesca Bangna and Chuks Aneke. The visitors pushed hard for a leveller, with Luke Summerfield twice firing wide before Jon Taylor forced a stunning point-blank save from Crewe keeper Ben Garratt. Shrewsbury deservedly equalised as Taylor smashed a long ball home. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25376424
The big clue here is that Crewe are another football team that plays in a different league. I scored Friday with a beautiful free kick that soared like a arrow ... goalie didn't move but it had no influence at all on our game against Leicester. At 53 I feel I have played more and scored more goals than Hitchcock in fact over history collectivity I am a far better player than him. I have played at the old goldstone ground in Brighton many times against players that appeared in the World Cup I have played against QPR I deserve a chance and am fed up with continually being overlooked ... I am close to packing it in
