A bad result for TP yesterday especially as he is relying on Palace to survive by getting points at home (no surprise there) but they were not very well organised at the back yesterday and Jerome should have buried that chance in the second half

He will raid the January market and bring in some cloggers and game stoppers to keep them up. I reckon he could take at least 3 from Stoke!

I listened to Pulis's interview before and after the game. "His voice, attitude, giving it big that their opponents have some great players. Nothings changed has it?
They may survive but only because the league is not so good this season IMHO of course.

I saw their highlights and they didn't look great, but they were always going to struggle whether they played the Hollaway or the Pulisway. I thought the stats said it all to be honest, 30% possession at home and only 3 corners just shows you are not in the oppositions half enough. Let's see what he does in the window before we judge but I font think he can buy his way out if this one.

We are only half way through the season. They may only have 13 points. it is a big ask and we know TP is being provided with funds. So do not write Palace off as yet.

My view is that 37 points will be safe this year.

The next 4 games for Palace look tough with Aston Villa, Man City and West Brom away and Norwich at home.

West Ham although facing Man City and Arsenal also have West Brom at home and Fulham away.

Whilst Fulham play Norwaich, Hull both away and Sunderland and West Ham at home.

Do I think we should be concerned? I am a lot happier after 3 excellent points yesterday as it gives us some 8 points between us at 10th and Palace in 18th. Goal Difference effectively gives us another point.

Looks like he will be targeting draws away and scrapping for a few home wins.

I would rather we are sitting where we are, given we've just played two tough away games in 2 days. The ONLY thing that's hurt us is the goal diff of minus EIGHT without reply.

    Look at the Shammers
Cardiff and a few more now, and I would be bricking it!

EDIT I forgot about Assaidi's screamer on Thursday.. <ok>

Did you forget another cracking goal from Assaidi against Castle?

I agree I would much prefer to be with 21 points than 16 that Palace have. We have another 2 tough games now but I still fell confident. 30 minutes we were really good at St James' Park before Atkinson decided the game!

EDIT Potts I started typing before I saw you remembered the screamer from Bin Laden.

If we play against Liverpool like the Chelsea team did we would be down to 5 players left on the pitch.
