He has become pure class mind. Him and Sissoko absolutely destroyed CP's left back area yesterday. A player reborn

He has come really good for us. Starting to become a bit of a favourite of mine.

He showed class when he first came but it's taken him a little bit of time to settle in with his new team mates, however it's plain to see he's settled in now and seems to be enjoying playing for us. Almost always the last man off the field after coming to give the supporters a clap.

First name on the team sheet for me and after Zabaleta the best right back in the league. If we had Enrique on the left we'd have a great back four.

I'm just never going to be convinced by Santon at left back.

Left back is undoubtedly the weak link. Santon is great going forward but still has issues of when to go forward, and also getting dragged out of position. Haidara looks slick but also looks a bit positionally naïve. Been caught out a few times. Dummett looked very good I his fleeting appearances. Not as good technically as the other two but certainly no fool with the ball. Hopefully the mackem game didn't knock his confidence too much.

I suppose its just a case of working with all 3 to iron out their issues.

Debuchy has shown the value of patience with foreign players once again.

A classy, classy full back who plays with his heart on his sleeve. I believe he will become a great Toon legend in time.

Anyone else thinking that he is so settled he could be at the club forever. I was once a doubter but now I love him. He is the perfect tonic of fullback we have wanted for years and now he has found his feet he can really make a name for himself. I actually think if we do well this season he will also persuade dreamboat to stay.

We are one or two pieces short of our best team for years. I actually watch us thinking we can win every game atm.... Testimony to Pardew. Credit due!

He looks to me like a left sided Ashley Cole who can challenge in the air... If he can reach the type of consistency that typifies Cole................

He is a true Geordie legend in the making
