Serious question would you guys get rid of Pardew or Ashley or both of them ? because at the start of the season there seemed to be a lot of hate for them.

Also ever since those local Newcastle papers were banned , you lot seem to have gone a bloody good run, do you reckon that lack of overwhelming press interest in everything single thing that Newcastle do being reported every two seconds, seems to have had a good effect on the performance of the team.

I'll judge Pardew at the end of the season.
For Fat Mike... as a businessman/owner I'd actually keep him.
We are financially stable and he has affordable pricing for tickets.
As a person I hate the bloke and would indeed like to see the back of him.
What you should have done is throw Joe Kinnear into the mix.
I think everyone on here would want to see the back of the washed up potty mouthed wino.

I can't understand the kinnear thing tbf , I mean yeah he's been out of the game for a while and I thought he had retired, but I thought that because of the heart problems that he and Newcastle had parted on good terms, but the hatred for him makes our hatred for benitez look like an argument between toddlers. Never seen the explanation for that one.

By the way Graeme Cortney the north east journo for talksport... jesus, he is like a walking sun newspaper

I remain convinced JFK was brought in to take attention away from Pardew.... which some could argue it has.

Love to see the back of Fat Mike, but the replacement would have to be the right. My problem with him is the PR cock ups, he just seems determined to bring the wrong kind of attention on the club. All the moaning about lack of transfers is not something I buy into. He could be more ambitious at times but we are not that badly done to. His record in terms of getting our finances right is pretty good.

Joe Kinnear was just a silly appointment. He should be removed quietly in the summer. The bloke has contributed zero and looks like a pity thing from Jabba.

Pards is doing well. I always said he should be judged at the end of his 3rd season, same as any other manager. I think it is a good timeframe to judge their contribution. I think he has done well overall so far. If he could get our youth set up working, that would be nice. The thing I like about him is there iis a clear sign of learning and progression. If he delivers a top 10 finish it will be a good example to those supporters, chairman, pundits who buy into the modern instant success mentality. Lot to be said for a bit of patience.

I will hold my hands up and say I used to hate Mike Ashley. I will also hold y hands up and say I think I was wrong. I don't like everything he does, and a little communication would go a long way, but overall I think he is a good owner. We are on a sound financial footing and we are run sensibly - something we weren't under fat freddy. Those who want him out (and I was one) should be careful what they wish for - and not just the mad foreigners. Look at Portsmouth, Rangers, Leeds, Plymouth, Cardiff, Hull, Coventry and many more.

I've always been a fan of Pards - even last year. While he may not have got my pouch as warm as he did some others I never bought into the sack him brigade and I'm glad we have some stability.

I think Vincent Tan has done a tremendous PR job to help make Ashley look like a Saint.

I always thought Ashley's original plans for the club made good financial sense for long term stability. It's just that he's made some howlers along the way. I doubt he'll ever get the full affection of the fans that some owners have elsewhere, but equally he has steadied a very troubled ship.

We could easily has disappeared into the wilderness of administration, so we need to remember what he has given the club. I still don't fully trust him and don't believe he truly has the club at his heart. And so e of his 'business decisions, for the good of the club' have made him look like an ass. But I think we also have a lot to thank him for.

He's not the local, passionate, Toon fan owner that us fans would love, but equally he's not the worst owner in the Prem.

As for the manager, that's an easy one. Pardew out! Pardew out! Pardew out! ;)

Pardew is proving his worth here again and the spotlight is actually on Mike Ashley - will he back Pards if we qualify for Yewrope again?

    I would seriously doubt it.

We struggled last season because of a lack of quality depth in the squad and horrific injury problems... Pardew has the team in the right place just now but I can't see the fat man opening the purse strings. If we continue like this, you could see Pardew being lured away as the top English Manager currently.

Ashley is like marmite. He's steadied our ship, but I can't stand the bloke and hope he ****s off sharpish before his next hideous decision.

Pardew is making best use of what Ashley allows him to do, I suppose.

With the team on a good run, few injuries and a feeling of good will at Christmas I notice that the "Fans" who were so vitriolic after the defeat at Swansea have packed up after shouting for Pard's to be sacked and a violent coup undertaken to seize control of the club, Ashley makes some big mistakes but overall has led to a steady ship. The next real big test is going to be the January transfer window and how we can hold on to the cream of our players that have now made the difference, if you polled all the fans of any football club I doubt you would find 100% satisfaction with what is happening even at the top of the premiership, I think that as demonstrated at Cardiff it is not just the fans expectations that a manager has to deal with now but the pressure from owners who may have deep pockets but come from an alien culture of expectation and business.

I would want both of them out, fat mike
Is obvious and Pardews damage was down last season and those mistakes can't be covered up in my opinion.
Luckily other clubs done us a favour at the end of the season and we managed to stay up

We can't be a club that one minute we want the manager out then the next is okay, stick to

It's easy for people to get swept up in the delirium of a good run, but I don't understand how, objectively, you can forget all of the terrible decisions he's made and the awful performances that he is responsible for. I would very much like to see us replace him with someone better, which is not something I think would prove to be too difficult.

Its easy for people to get caught up in the misery of a poor run, but I don't understand how, objectively, you can forget all the great decisions he's made and excellent performances he is responsible for. If the majority of performances during his time here, working under these circumstances, have been good come the end of his third season, I'd like to see him given more time.

Totally agree. Also when you look at our bench it is a measure of far we have come and if we build slowly but surely we will remain a top 10 - 6 team but this will mean losing a Cabaye along the way its the modern game.
