I am convinced that the reason we are struggling this season is down to the signings of our DOF!Why sell your best players and bring in inferior players? We sold quality players such as Sessignon and Mignolet and brought in a host of unknown players, who are not performing. Our star signing "up-front" couldn't score in a brothel!!Our consistent players this season are our "old stock"..i.e Cattermole,Brown,Colback and Johnson....where are our new signings? The only one that is performing is Giaccherini and Ki,who is on loan !!I feel sorry for our manager.Gus has been dealt a poor hand, but I think that he can turn it around in the coming months if he is allowed to sign who he wants in the January transfer-window!!

The old crew has also provided the worst. Larsson, Gardner, AJ and John O'Shea

Blaming the signings is a cop out if you ask me, we've the same problem of creating chances we've had for season so surly must blame Short, Quinny, Bruce and O'Neil' if we're blaming Di Fanti.

Sess was hardly an assist machine when he was here and Mig was off whether we like it or not. I think it's clear that short hasn't given Difanti the funds to add next level signings with out leaving us thin. He's caught between a rock and a hard place. Short is being strict with his money, we need to accept it hope he digs deep for an advanced playmaker.

In my opinion we will be preparing for life in the championship when January comes. There will be a mass exodus from the club.

It seems likely to be a benefit that so many of your players are out of contract in the summer (I think I'm right in saying there are a few). Should get the players playing for a new contract and if the worst happens give you some breathing room on the wage bill to rebuild.

We're struggling largely because we're not good enough to play the tiki taka possession football Poyet wants to play. It's quite refreshing watching SAFC play that sort of football for the first time in my life, but we're not good enough t6 play it at the tempo required. By the time we get up the pitch the opposition are in position and our 'strikers' are out of the game. We need to get up the field faster.

Speaking of strikers, I'm undecided whether Altidore's problem is that he's woefully short of confidence or that he's not good enough (or both). I'm tending towards the latter.

I think in the home games we have to gamble and play Fletcher and Altidore. I think if Poyet had took Larsson off instead of Altidore n gone two up top we might have won it yesterday.
