The guy was a total beast yesterday.
Here's a heat map showing where he got to around the pitch.
We simply have to hold onto him.

Pathetic! Not a single goal-line clearance all match! Ship him out now! ;)

He can turn a game around with one piece of brilliance. When he isn't being too feisty and giving away free kicks, he adds so much to the team. IF we can keep hold of him it will be great, but I fear some big guns approaching in January.

We certainly seem to have a more balanced side with him, Tiote, Anita, Sissoko, Gouf and Remy.

And Tiote is getting back to his best too. That can only be a good thing.

I'm suprised the club isn't busting a gut to tie him down to a more lucrative contract, and Ben Arfa for that matter like Liverpool have just done with Suarez.

Cabaye was unbelievably good again yesterday. Playing some wonderful football this year. I'd like to keep him but I think the big guns pressing need for a world class playmaker will see us lose him. That's football.

He would be mad to leave in January with the World Cup coming up, he's settled here, is in great form and is a no-brainer for a starting place when fit, three things that are not guaranteed at a bigger club, case in point, Demba Ba, so I don't think its worth the potential risk to his international aspirations. If he stays here, he will CERTAINLY be on the plane to Brazil, whereas a bad move now could possibly see him overlooked if he doesn't settle or start frequently.

However saying that, I honestly can't see him being here next season, if he keeps this form up and has a decent World Cup with France.

I think he will stay until the end of the season. With the club in a strong position to finish pretty high in the league this season, I don't think they will jeopardise that by selling him midway through the season, we will only slide badly in the second half of the season if we sell him - our record without him is not good.

If Liverpool can keep Suarez we can at least try and keep Cabaye. With all the extra cash coming into the club at the end of the season we can afford to offer him a top salary...

I don't think is an issue for him. He is a winner and wants trophies. He'll get the money wherever he is.

The problem has never been with the inflow to the club.
