I was going for Music Show (very dependant on the ground) anything softer than Good I will be putting my money on Lolly for dolly. Music Show and the fav do not run well on soft ground! Music show in particular on soft ground has not gone better than 4th and she might not even run! So if the ground is soft come tuesday my money will not be on her unfortunately although I think she is a very talented horse!

Lolly for dolly - has won over the distance has won on soft ground and looks to be getting better all the time, and I feel might just have the edge over the field!

    Hi folks,

this forum seems to be taking off nicely. I'm an ex 606 occasional poster. I think that the two john best runners here are a bit overpriced. They are maidens but that's no bar to success here, john best has a fabulous record in this race and he is not sure luke morris has chosen the right one so i've had a little dabble on both. if you look at his website and his tweets he seems pretty keen, shame about the rain though. Good luck all.

Very good point, and welcome to the forum Ches. John has started off very slowly with his juveniles but he runs his best ones in this race, they could be overpriced.

straight track looks to be good by start of racing tomorrow according to reports I have read. On this draw bias thing, do you think its more about pace or is it a real advantage to be under the stands rail?

    Cheers Nass,

Nice to be agreed with by a guru such as yourself. Lupo doro or whatever it's called was 130 on bf yesterday, still 90 now so it's rude not to really. The goingstick update and the clerk indicated it's quicker up the centre, i guess we'll know after the king's stand...although probably not.

Nassau: Whoops sorry, just erased that daft comment on Windsor Castle/Forest Stakes...<doh>

Anyway, in this second race at Royal Ascot tomorrow, have just had a wee e/w flutter on Field Day at 20/1. This Cape Cross filly might go well with Ryan Moore aboard. She is also a CD winner, and, importantly, seems to handle ground with a bit of cut in it?
