I may be naive but I believe he's true to his word. If he'd intended going it he'd be gone -- the summer nonsense would have given him the perfect excuse to leave and appear in the eyes of the world to have been the man wronged.

"Nothing special" <laugh> So how do you explain our best season ever last time out that gave us the best year yet in the Prem and our first Cup win? I can't wait. Honestly. Was that nothing to do with Laudrup then? <doh>

You didn't mention "firm offers" the first time - you said he hasn't had "any offers". According to him he has had "offers" from at least one CL club, probably more. Funny how clubs are making these enquiries of an overrated crap manager innit? <doh> When I was on holiday overseas I lost count of the number of times footie fans came up to me praising Laudrup. Are they all wrong then?

I know you only say these things to get a reaction but all you're doing is making youself look a bigger fool than usual, and that really takes some doing.

In the summer just gone Real Madrid fans voted laudrup as the man they would most like to see take charge of their club. Overrated my arse.

Dai if you weren't so constantly anti-swans then your argument would have credibility..

Which part dont you understand ? I think he is just a bog standard manager in my view and have not seen anything that no other bog standard manager couldn't do...which part dont you understand because if you think i am going to change my opinion because you are creaming your knickers then you will have a long wait. and dont be deluded to think im the only one who thinks he is just an average manager then you are deluded i have heard the same comment countless times and its my opinion. Its not wrong and its what i think..

I think we're doing fine and ML is a fantastic manager. The problem this season is the demands of the Europa league. Just look how it affected a good Newcastle team last season. I think now with a little rest between games we will get back on track!

Any other bog standard manager. Like win a major trophy you mean? How many major trophies has David moyes won? Bear in mind he is now the united manager. That's right - 0.
We beat the European champions over 2 legs to win that cup. What bog standard managers do you know that could do that?

There's no drama, Laudrup is gonna stay and that's that. I personally am happy that he shut down speculations akin to those we had in summer.

martinez won a more worthy cup with wigan and they were relegated, so your point is? Laudrup is an ok manager but not the best in the country. there are better and i don't rate him as if he is anywhere near rodger's,martinez or about 6 others in the premiership. now thats my view and if you have a problem with that then see a doctor...Just because you might think different don't make it right. I am looking at the big picture and your looking at us beating a league two side in the cup. Like i say he will do for now but he is not right for our type of football and never has. Not all managers can play the system martinez and rodgers you know just like they cant play laudrups system and i know what system we are better at and its not laudrups...

Dai: Could you be more ****ing condescending? Nobody has suggesting that Laudrup is the "best in the country". This is Swansea not Arsenal!!!! No doubt if we're fortunate to squeeze a result tomorrow you'll disappear but if we lose you'll be sticking it to our Manager yet again.

You profess to support your local club but you really support Liverpool because that was the team you "creamed your knickers" over when you was a kid. Amazingly, you landed a job as a steward at the Vetch but when Jenkins fired your sorry ass (great judgment yet again from him) you've always had it in for him and our Club. You've never got anything good or positive to say about the Club I love and for that you deserve every little piece of criticism you get.

I've defended you time after time here but you perpetually prove me wrong.

    Merry Christmas to all <ok>

I don't necessarily subscribe that Wigan won the more "worthy cup". The big teams might field weaker sides in the early rounds of the League Cup but when they get near the silverware, they get serious.

The FA Cup is pure knockout and any team can win a one off game with luck or a good performance on the day. We had to play the reigning European Champions over TWO legs and we beat them by two clear goals - this after tuning Liverpool at Anfield 3-1.

As for Wigan, I think you'll find that they've been knocked out of Europe. We are still there.

Dai swan, Hugh's mate no longer with posts like that. Here we are mid table after a congested Europa League fixture list that other Premier League teams have struggled to cope with in the past eg Fulham, but we are through, playing with our bargain basement team. 20 points after 16 games and half way to the magic stay up of 40 with 22 games to go. Yes we want to see them doing better and Everton tomorrow is going to be a good test.
Now down to Michael laudrup, the most two footed player I ever saw and if I ever picked an all time world eleven team, he would be in it, and he is manager at Swansea? Really? Michael Laudrup is Manager at Swansea City? That is something I can never get over. Count your lucky stars. Have you noticed how many of the Swans players are using both feet, Dyer especially with that sidewise stride that ML does in those videos on the training ground. As Leon said last year, he doesn't tell us what to do, he shows us. Daiswan, You need to ban yourself. There is no possible better manager that we could get than Mr Michael laudrup and no a more loyal manager. A man of his word. Yes he will go, but when he does The Swans we be far better off for him having been with us that's for sure.

... there are only 3 major domestic trophies that British clubs can win in a particular season and he won one of these in his first in charge (the first one in the history of your football club) ... by my definition that makes him 'special' in the everyday sense of the word ... and I'm not a Swans fan <laugh>
