That's not true. Tubby has come back with loads of different IP addresses before and been banned on loads of them. He was also the same guy as that Ableton from months ago, who was also banned. You can quite easily mask or even change your IP completely.

Anyone remember stickywicket? This yannicksagbo guy matches with him. He was worse than Tubby. If anyone could point me in the direction of whatever evidence there is to suggest he's also Tubby I'd be very interested.

What checks can you conduct then to ensure a poster doesn't have multiple user names?

 

Us, not much. We can just see IP addresses really. The supermods can see far more and that lets them confirm our suspicions about people like Tubby.

Posters like the sagbo character are only wums who enjoy the reaction they get. There are far more offensive posters than them

Why? If you ignore wums they have nowt. Posters with opinions that offend are worse as they say things that genuinely offend people. Just my opinion if it makes sense?

Just that there is one poster whom I believe was banned from another site for having multiple identities. It has been queried a few times as to whether that poster is playing the same game on here and the mods insist that's not the case.

It usually becomes obvious to supermods when they first join, because all 'newbies' are monitored closely by them. I'm not aware of any such query so it must have been before I was a mod? Are you on about our Percy?

 

I remember Candy Man getting accused of being three different accounts by a load of Millwall twats.

It was bullshit because one of those accounts accused was me. And I'm fairly certain i'm not Candy Man...

Perry is a very intelligent lad and I really don't think he'd feel the need to pull that sort of stunt.

 

Nor do I, but I think he's mentioned being banned from another site for it before, but it was apparently a misunderstanding. That's the only reason I mentioned him.

Which site? If you're on about CI, he's not banned and didn't have multiple identities according to the mods on there. I asked when it was raised before.
