Livermore (for a fantastic run and great shot for the goal) McGregor (for really strong keeping under pressure) Davies (the rock in another great performance by the back three) Honorable Mention....Danny Graham...made the goal with a strong run from half way and brilliantly timed pass. By far his best performance of the season.
Livermore Chester Davies I never seem to find room for McGregor, but he was again absolutely impeccable (on a relatively quiet day for him).
Livermore. Take away the goal and he still wins hands down. What a guy! Graham McGregor - didn't have many actual saves to make but still had a lot of work to do under pressure which he did superbly and trouble free. Makes it look easy.
Livermore Davies Graham Could have picked anyone to be honest. Thought City were outstanding. Also quick point, was quite disgusted yesterday to see a City or WBA (or as the police wanted to describe them, a Walsall) fan having a punch up as I walked away from the ground. I say two blokes, one just clobbered a City fan from behind. If the latter is on here, I really commend your calmness and also commend the ones who stepped in to stop the absolute lunatic. Shows that we Hull City fans stand for each other, and common sense.
Livermore McGregor Chester I thought it was another good performance all round away from home tbh. They all never stopped tracking back or running around, was good to see.
Livermore by a country mile yesterday, followed by Thudd and Davies. Sagbo was awful today, if he offers little goal threat (none yesterday) at least hold the ball up, he lost it 75% of the time yesterday. McGregor had v little to do so can't count him in.
Livermore McGregor Davies Graham was excellent in the first half, but fairly anonymous in the second and Bruce seemed to be playing for West Brom for the last twenty minutes.
