Jelavic at Everton may be an option if not too pricey. Has allegedly asked for a move to get regular football in order to play at next years world cup and keep his place in the national team.
he has to be good, cos as we all know, them IT nerds know their **** when choosing footballers. <snooze>
Did anyone know we were supposedly clossing in on a deal for this guy? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...Steve-Bruce-considers-new-bid-Shane-Long.html http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Filip_Đorđević
Yep been mentioned a few times, Bruce went to watch him a couple of weeks a go and he missed a penalty!
@hullcity_pfa: Sunday People say Tim Sherwood likely to recall Livermore if he remains in the Spurs job into the New Year"
Sherwood wont get the job, he hasnt got the UEFA Coaching badges EDIT - I mean he hasn't got his Pro License
Sherwood does have his UEFA A&B qualifications, having launched the process when he joined the Tottenham backroom staff, but Premier League rules state that all managers must have their Pro Licence or at least be enrolled on a course. These rules don't apply until 12 weeks after the initial appointment. So if he is in the job for 12 weeks, Sherwood has 12 weeks to enroll, which shouldn't be a problem.
He said that he had sources that said that they wouldnt be recalled. Something to that effect, it wasnt the same thing as saying that they would not be recalled.
Looks like no business on the horizon according to Bruce? Seems a bit odd with what we've been hearing in regards to Cairney, and Djurdjovic.
I think he ment incoming buisness as he has said that we are in talks over Cairney and have already turned down one bid for him. The no business thing probably means that it will be a last minuet deal for anyone we bring in just like every other time.
