QPR were cynical, we needed a strong ref, thank god we got one for a change, But I thought konchesky was playing for them...shocking..,.
I think our lack of goals will cost us more, though I wasn't overly impressed with DeLaet either tbh. Striker is a priority for me.
Mmmmm .................. and Vardy was ****, and never saw Drinkwater. We need a complete new team ............. oh wait! Seriously, think Konch is probably having his best season for us. De Laet may not be the most clinical defender but offers other options than just his defending. Personally, don't think we have ANY **** players that desperately need replacing. We could do better in every position, but that would cost serious money. After the pre season it became obvious that we were not going to splash serious cash. January will be more about keeping our players than buying new ones. Guys, we have just won at the odds on favourites for promotion - give the lads a break ffs.
Mmmmmmmmmmmm...Thought I said it was a great result..but the opposition was targeting konchesky as our weak link....they were right to. , just pointing out the bleeding obvious... ,
Some good points made but, 6 clean sheets & 22 goals against in 21 games is a worry for me when you think we´re a team penciled in to go up.
. Their muppet haired left-back was worse today imo, far too easy for Nuge/Knocky and DeLaet to knock it around him with little effort.
Pearson has managed Vardy superbly. He gave him taste last season, and Vardy did start pretty well and then let Vardy take 6 months out to develop his game and body to cope with the championship. Totally different player now. My biggest criticisms of has been his poor first touch, poor strength and lack of self belief. None of them have been evident this season other then his self belief at the start of the season. As for Konch he does a job for us. Nothing more, nothing less
vardy was different gravy today...he deserves all the praise he gets...but I've watched the game again..... paul konchesky was shight....fact..sorry.., no axe to grind...just my opinion...
I dont rate Konch too highly either Only reason he is still here is because no other sod can afford his wages He would get destroyed in the prem and we could find better in the championship for cheaper
Konch has cost us points this season, does give the ball away a hell of a lot. With Dyer on the left doing likewise this is highlighted more. The team needs Dyer, just wish we had better support for him at left back.
I'm not the biggest Konchesky fan as all regulars on here will know - but I thought he was OK yesterday in what was a very good team performance all round - he does give the ball away far too often and his decision making is often suspect and he scares the ****e out of me when opposing forwards are taking him on in the penalty area ... but as I said above - thought it was a great battling performance yesterday ... Nuge even made a challenge with real intent for once ... OK it was aimed at a squirrel but give credit where it is due .....................
My biggest Konchesky qualm is; Drinkwater > Konchesky > Misplaced pass >Lack of pace > We get hit on the counter. This happened a lot yesterday. Also, for an experienced guy, he doesn't half get caught out on when to get tight to a player and when to drop off. Phillips turned him several times yesterday.
