Should Jazz Richards get the nod ahead of Dwight Tiendelli on Sunday now that Rangel is unavailable. I have been very disappointed with Tiendelli's performances this season, he appears to have lost all confidence and been lucky not to sent off on at least a couple of occasions. My vote goes to Richards for Sunday.
I tend to agree but many won't. What I liked about Tiendalli earlier on in his time with us was that he seemed in the mould of Rangel - an attacking fullback. Lately he's been awful, always slowing it down and looking for the safe back pass. He never tries to take a man on and he always slows down our build up on the right. I still think he'll start Sunday.
I think Tiendalli will start but I would gave Jazz a chance as he can't do no worse than Dwight is doing atm.
Play who is showing the form in training, Richards is a good young player and if he shows that he can link up with whoever is provincially chosen against Everton then play him. If Tiendalli looks better which he should do then he has to play...One thing is for sure it will be a midfield battle and whoever can control the game there will come out on top, I wish leon was fit for this game as we could do with his influence...
I don't think Jazz is good enough for the PL, he cost us a load of goals when he was playing. I'd go for Neil Taylor.
100% Taylor looked good for GB. He can be effective both in attack and defense on the right. Good call campioni but I can't see it. He hasn't started on the right for the Swans and I doubt ML will start him now. I know I've been down on Dwight, oooo errrrr Mrs, but in his defense he is a left sided player. On the right he is poor. I feel Jazz could play there, but there is no attack at all from Jazz, that's why I think Tiendalli will start.
He had some decent games there in the Olympics. Jazz, I feel has potential but is struggling to realise it. He hasn't relished fast, tricky wingers in the past and if Pienaar gets at him, he could tear Jazz a new one. Match fit he might be but his games for Huddersfield would in no way have prepared him for the pace and skill levels of the better teams in the PL. I might be tempted to go with Amat at RB instead of Tiendalli who I've been very disappointed with.
In the Prem, Taylor cannot switch to RB. He can only stand on his right foot, which means he would have to pull inside on his left to make a pass down the line or cross, that extra move is going to cost us and him. You might be able to get away with that one sidedness in the Olympics but against the likes of Pienaar and Baines coming down our right flank he would get slaughtered. Amat instead of Tiendalli - we need our strongest players in that position. In fact if Jazz is fit and Amat is not an option then I would put him in that position and not have any qualms about it.
Did anyone notice that Chico an Ash swopped for the Hull game , with Ash on the left side and Chico on the left, random thought I know but one I noticed
I wouldn't go as far as say he is not good enough to be fair to him, I would say he dont have enough experience at top level yet but i know he will try his best and can hold his own against a few teams but probably not Everton who have improved under martinez and play fast football...I'd like to see him and donnelly play more against so called lesser teams to get the experience they require ..
